3 generations stayed here in my family while in the area vacationing. Sadly time has taken a toll on the old girl. There really needs to be some renovations done as it was like visiting a time capsule. Interior needs renovating. Other than that it was a quiet and relatively pleasant stay.

As a recent and past guest, the Lynburke offers a quiet and calm atmosphere for the weary traveler. Rustic is the best term to use, filled with history and modern amenities. It is not the Hilton Inn. Nostalgic is what you get. The Manager (Felicia) is very polite and accommodating. The whole staff works hard to make your stay comfortable.... More

i don't understand how a place like his is permitted to operate! it is FILTHY!! SMELLY! with tattered curtains and soiled bedding! it is against the law to smoke in motels in Vermont yet the rooms at the LymBurke are like sleeping in an ashtray. even the staff stands out front and smokes.cigarette butts are every where! also, women and... We were in Family Suite Room 24 - 2 double beds in one room with no TV which really upset my 2 older boys. Queen bed in the other room with older TV. The tub had stains in it and was in desperate need of replacement. Other than the tub, the room was clean enough but sleeping in a bed... More

I hadn't planned on staying at the Lynburke. I was on work from Burlington, 80 miles away from home, and unfortunately had a vehicle breakdown about ten miles north up the road. I stuck my thumb out, and a kind local gave me a lift into town ( after walking four or five miles). My cell phone battery had died,... More

The smoke detector was beeping when we got there they had no back up batteries so they left it hanging out of the ceiling. There was a big picture that didnt belong where it was it was covering up a hole in the wall. Bath tub was plugged so we were standing in water up to our ankles. If you... More

I stayed at this hotel along with my German Shepherd Yuri. It was a very good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The television had a huge selection of channels - I watched most of a Boston Red Sox game on NESN and a movie on TNT. The staff was extremely friendly which is of great importance to me.... More

Holes in the sheets. Stains and hairs on the sheets. Carpeted floor was filthy. Management was very friendly and nice, but the accommodations are absolutely horrible for the price. The lawn and the pool are the only things that look like they have been taken care of in decades.
