My wife and I held our wedding reception at Echo Lake Inn, and it was a wonderful experience. The innkeeper was amazing, and the day couldn't have been more fun. The guests loved the food, and the service during their stay was top-notch. more

My fiance and I were looking for a weekend getaway during the Vermont "shoulder season" after reviewing several options were decided on the Echo lake inn. We were not disapointed. The room was roomy bright, and clean. Even though the inn was not very busy during the off season the staff treated us like kings. They could not do enough... more

Echo Lake is charming, clean, and comfortable. It's just a short drive from Okemo mountain which makes it ideal place to stay if you're a skier. The area around the Inn is beautiful for walking, even in the heart of winter. There's a pond and several brooks just across the road. The Inn's interiors are lovely but not over the... more

A warm and friendly place to stay. Staff was excellent, friendly and enjoyable to chat with. While we were there during a slow time of year as the ski season was winding down, the staff certainly wasn't. Great breakfasts with the best eggs that we have ever had, will never go to the gorcery store again for eggs. Laurence was... more

The hotel and restaurant looks great from the outside but it is miserable from the inside. My main complaint is with the arrogant attitude of the management. This is reflective in the restaurant that pretends to be a cozy place with good food. The reality is that it severely overpriced with tiny portions that are reflective of the Okemo cafeteria.... more

We have been going to Echo Lake Inn for many years and it is our favorite place to stay. The rooms have been redecorated and are beautiful and comfortable. The food is outstanding! Chef Kevin has never disappointed us. We love sitting by the pool or on the front porch in the summer, or by the fireplace in the winter.... more

We held our wedding at the Echo Lake Inn in September 2005. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Laurence, the innkeeper, and his gracious staff took the stress out of the wedding planning and helped us to coordinate everything, at very reasonable prices, too. The food was absolutely incredible! The inn and the grounds are beautiful, and there are... more
