This was our second conference experience at Jackson Gore. With one minor exception our stay was very enjoyable. The enjoyable part first. Front desk help was excellent, from a very helpful voice on the phone making our reservations to an easy check out the friendly staff was very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable including a sitting area... More

Jackson Gore is a very nice hotel, particularly when compared to the competition in the area. Unfortunately, this is the aspect that is most exploited by the owners. Prices here rival those at some of the finest lodgings in many more highly desirable locations. Rooms here are nice and seem to aspire to a level of finish and amenities that... More

I stay at the JG often and wanted to do a quick trip with my 14 year old son and find some new things to do. We hiked the Healdville Trail which is a 10 minute drive from the inn up Rt 103 going toward Rutland. It was a moderately challenging hike which goes up the backside of Okemo Mt.... More

Stayed in the 1 bedroom unit with kitchen. The room and pools were very nice and clean, and the activities such as the Timber Ripper and the zipline were great, albeit expensive. The pullout couch, however, was atrocious. I recommend upgrading to a room with the murphy bed.

We visited in July, a lot to do in the summer. Activities were a little expensive, just like any other resort though. Nice fitness area, racket ball, pools, tennis - great Segway tours! Friday night concert, food and drink on the lawn in the summer months. Many things to do at the resort and in the local area, all employees... More

We came to Jackson Gore Inn for a weekend for a friend's wedding in the middle of June. I checked the place out online ahead of time and was anxious for what it seemed to offer. Driving into the facilities was a spectacular entrance and my husband and I were excited for a fun weekend. Check in went quick and... More

My first response is that I’m truly sorry that you were disappointed with the first accommodations reserved for you. Admittedly the Inn has an unusually large number of accommodation options ranging from a room with two Queen beds all the way up to units comprising well over 2000 sq ft.; the smaller naturally being the least expensive option. We will... More

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at the Jackson Gore Inn. It’s a comfortable and amenity-rich resort-type base lodge: Fine dining restaurant plus a lobby bar; large staffed exercise facility with indoor pool, yoga, etc.; game room; a plentiful and helpful staff, convenience store with light groceries and snacks (nice touch given that the suites have kitchens). The... More

Just got back from a 3 day spring ski vacation. After worrying for weeks that we wouldn't have any snow, we were pleased with what we found. The Jackson Gore resort has so many trails (119 I believe) that though they weren't all open at all times, we found plenty for us to keep us busy. Now, we are first... More

Snowfall in the northeast was at record lows this year with temps averaging 20 degrees above normal. If you're an avid skier this was not a good season. If you own a ski resort, this season was a nightmare. This did not stop the Jackson Gore Inn from delivering top notch service both at the Inn and on the slopes... More

I agree with the reviewers who said the sofa bed is "brutal" and unacceptable. It is the cheapest sofa bed I have ever encountered and my son sinks down in the center due to the concave shape. After I complained, the front desk offered a board to put under the mattress, but it is too small and only fits under... More
