We have stayed at the Combes Famly Inn every winter for over 20 years. We love the location, we love the food and we love the inkeeepers. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. It's a great place for families as well as couples and singles.

My family recently stayed at the inn and had a wonderful stay. Our room was on the first floor near one of the common areas. The room consisted of a double bed, bunk beds, and a trundle bed. The inn is very cozy and Ruth & Bill make sure that you have a great stay. Breakfast was made by Bill... More

We recently had a two night stay with our three children on one of the coldest weekends this year. It was too cold to ski properly so the cozy fire, cups of hot chocolate for the children and myriad of board games in the "secret" closet stairwell, helped to keep us relaxed and warm. This inn is very comfortable and... More

We were so looking forward to this adventure. We had tried to book in 2013 but were too late so we booked for Oct 2014 early in the year. Combes Family Inn was our third B&B on the walk and it was such a treat! Ruth & Bill were wonderful - very welcoming and fun! Great dinner and breakfast and... More

We stayed at the Combes Family Inn on the second night of the Vermont Inn to Inn Walking Tour. The location was perfect--away from the town, out in the country, beautiful and quiet! Bill and Ruth were great hosts. They warmly welcomed us, engaged us in spirited conversation and served up a couple of delicious meals. The room was clean... More

Stayed with a friend for a night and enjoyed our stay! The inn keepers are a hoot-quite funny and warmly welcome you into their home. The room we stayed in was roomy, clean and appointed with all you need. Check this place out-nice inn keepers and beautiful grounds.

As one of four inns on our Vermont Inn to Inn Walking Tour, we felt so at home at Combes Family Inn. Such a quiet rural setting. Enjoyed the comfort, company and DELICIOUS meals we shared during our stay.

In search of a venue for our wedding in Ludlow, we were referred to Bill and Ruth by another local inn. This was one of the best things that could have happened. Everyone who came said they loved the venue and everything about it. This is often simply a cordial gesture, but everyone really seamed to mean it. The grounds... More

We loved our first night's accommodations on the 4-night trek. The inn is well-maintained and quiet as can be. Ruth and Bill were gracious and friendly. They provided our every need. Ruth's dinner was amazing as was Bill's breakfast. We would love to return in the future! The other 3 inns on the tour were Inn Victoria, Old Farm Town... More

We stayed one night after an event finished locally at Okemo. The inn is about 10mins drive out of Ludlow in a rural, idyllic setting. Ruth and Bill are wonderful, friendly hosts. The accommodations were good - in keeping with the style and age of the farmstead. We stayed in the single-level "motel-style" rooms out front that are pet friendly... More
