I discovered Green Mountain at Fox Run after Google searching for "best weight loss retreats in the country" and after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, I was sold. I stayed for two months and it was the most incredible experience of my life. The staff, the lessons learned, the view, the weather...it was all amazing! I was never able to... More

After years of searching and trying what seems like everything to get a handle on the emotional eating that had plagued me most of my life, I found Green Mountain at Fox Run. The staff is incredible-- knowledgable, compassionate. Not boot camp! But challenging in that I had the perfect safe place to really explore what triggered my negative body... More

This is a educational institution with 43 years of history in teaching women emotional, physical & nutritional factors behind healthy and unhealthy behaviors. This is NOT a spa. NOT boot camp. NOT biggest loser. It is a nurturing, supportive, evidence-based program that will help you understand why you have food/body issues and how to lovingly and realistically deal with them. It is the only place I feel NO anxiety or stress. It is a holistic approach and it works. Great staff, great food,... More

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was friendly and accomodating. I don't like to waste money and at Green Mountain you don't. The facility was beautiful and clean along with a staff that was knowledgeable and gave great advice. The excercise team, headed by Lynn Ann, was exceptional. I was concerned because of my handicap but... More

I have been to Green Mountain three times in the past 3 years. My first experience was mind blowing. I had a very high stress job and worked 80+ hours a week. I had no idea I could be not stressed. I had no idea of what happy meant. I also had shin splints so badly I could not walk... More

My stay at Green Mountain was such a joy. What started as a need to "get away" from the chaos of work and home ended up being a life-changing experience. Through the counselors, workshops and the overall program, I learned to love myself again. Happiness is a choice, and I chose to be happy. Green Mountain helped me take charge... More

Just back from a glorious week at Green Mountain and I feel like a new person. Time spent in lectures and group discussions, workouts, meals and snacks. The staff are smart, dedicated, accomodating and trained to work with women with eating and weight issues. I enjoyed getting to know my fellow participants and many excellent, healthy meals. The difference in... More
