The location is great if you're a beginner. The ski school instructors are awesome! Okemo Mountan lodge is a far cry from a hotel. WOW!!! This was one of my best ski vacations. No need to go to the Rockies and have the kids suffer altitude sickness. The chairlift, rental shop, ski school, base lodge, equipment shop, restaurants, etc. are right outside your door. Once you park, there is no need to use your car again.
