My wife and I found this place to be mediocre and over-priced. Our room looked like it was last spruced up when disco was king. Our sink was in the main part of the room, while the bathroom itself was tiny and antiquated. The various appliances were powered by numerous extension cords, which snaked all over the floor and baseboards.... more

Our room (Room 18) at the Landgrove Inn left much to be desired. We paid $175 a night in the middle of August. The bathroom was extremely cramped, with a toilet and shower-in-tub behind a door. The ceiling wallboard was peeling, apparently from a leak in the room above. The plastic ceiling vent and light was yellowed from age. The... more

The Landgrove Inn is a true gem. I have spent a weekend every winter for the past 3 years at this enchanting inn. We just booked again for this winter with a few other couples. And each year we return with a larger group! We also go up in the early summer with our family for a reunion. The rooms... more

My wife and I stayed at the Landgrove for a brief (3-day) getaway, and absolutely loved it. The food was excellent and service (food and otherwise) was as as well. The building is old but well maintained and the rooms, lobby, eating area, open areas, etc. are in great shape. The inn sits on a property that is immaculate. I... more

It is so wonderful that I had my wedding there with 30+ of my closest friends and family. I was nervous planning an out of state wedding because you never know what to expect, but everything was perfect. Even my in-laws from the friendly mid-west loved the service and smiles. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing that I found myself... more

I have been going to The Landgrove Inn since I was a child, and my parents have been going there since they were in their 20's and they are now in thier late 60's. The Inn is located in the most picturesque and peacefull village of Landgrove. The roads are not paved, and the mountains surround you. There is no... more

My husband and I have visited this Inn many times. It is our favorite place to stay in Vermont and Vermont is our favorite place to go for "quiet time". The Inn is like a picture you would have in your mind if you thought of a perfect spot to vacation in this beautiful area. Amazing hills and trails surround... more
