Apparently this place has been closed by the Health Department again, and they didn't even cancel our reservation. We showed up only to find an empty parking lot and a CLOSED sign on the door. No message on their website; no one picking up the phone; and still accepting reservations on their website and via Expedia. Totally ridiculous... we got... more

We stayed there in December on a ski holiday. We were aprehensive after reading many negative reviews and it turned out they were all true. The rooms are outdated, dirty, taps hanging off the wall, stained mattresses and every morning our freshly cooked breakfast was cold. The swimming pool was filthy, equiment in the gym wasn't working, lift out of... more

Just returned from the Cortina. A nightmare We checked in on Tues. 6/17/08 and were told on Wed. 6/18/08 that we would have to leave because the Hotels water supply "remained to be contaminated" with the bacteria that causes Legionairres disease. This is the second time within an 8 week period I believe. You can go to the Vt. dept.... more

We arrived and stayed for a weekend stay. There is no General manager on the property but we had a chance to speak on a regular basis with Michael the Director. He and his staff were excellant. It is true the rooms need some updating but over all we enjoyed our stay emensely. Breakfast was great! more

(This is the 3rd time i am writing this review because I can't link to the outside information I received from the Vermont Health Department, so I am limited in what I can repeat from them): READ ENTIRE REVIEW ABOUT LEGIONNAIRE'S DISEASE My parents and I used to stay at the Cortina Inn, like 15-20 years ago, when it was... more

The Cortina Inn & Resort is under new management and welcoming guests. This posted review is incorrect and inaccurate, as are others. The Inn was shut-down one time for approximately 7 weeks. We are open for business weekends in June and weekends and weekdays thereafter. We look forward to our former and future guests visiting the property. Summer is a...

It deeply saddens me to read about the demise of the Cortina. For many years, this was a wonderful, warm and inviting place that made you feel like you were snug and warm at home, even though you were travelimg. My wife and I spent every Thanksgiving here for eight beautiful years and had our wedding here (our comments are... more

My boyfriend and I went to Killington to ski and had the worst stay. This Inn is outdated, old and loud! Upon arriving, I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes while the girl on her cell phone kept shushing me and telling me I had to wait. When we finally got our room it was decorated with 1970s... more

To start off, my wife and I are not picky about where we stay. We want a quiet room that is clean. When we stepped in to the hotel, we could tell that 20 or so years ago, this place must have been grand. But not anymore. We did not care, it was nice enough for us. This was Tuesday.... more

When I first walked into my room, it had a very strong oder of pine sol, or some other cleaning agent. It was annoying at first, but at least the room was clean. Other room gripes: Stains on the blankets, paper thin walls. Easily could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. I went to take a shower and there... more

A bit of a mixed review this season. My family thoroughly enjoyed our 11 days stay at Killington and cannot fault the skiing, but the Cortina Inn failed this time to live up to last years great vacation spent there. The downstairs bar was not open during the mid-week and bar meals were unavailable. Meals and drinks were availble from... more
