As I sit listening to the jackhammers pounding away in the near distance, I find myself longing for the respite of the Mountain View Retreat. With its rolling acreage of aged forests, mountain views, and wildflower fields, this two-room B&B offers an intoxicating and softly edged solitude that excelled expectations. We arrived last Friday afternoon and were so warmly greeted... More

This was our favorite place to stay during a recent trip to Vermont and New Hampshire! Truly a highlight of our trip. Hidden away on a back road, it is a place of tranquility and peace. The room we had was surrounded by trees and has a little spring running down the side of the hill. It was like being... More

We stayed in the spring room that had a small mountain spring rolling down the mountain right outside the window. The relaxing sound of the spring and the comfortable bed resulted in a very restful night's sleep. The blueberry pancakes and maple syrup were excellent, and the owners made the stay enjoyable and relaxing from arrival to departure. Also, a... More

I stayed here for two nights with my best friend while snowboarding. Mike was so extremely friendly and accommodating. My fiend and I had such a relaxing and peaceful time. The bed was like falling into a luxurious feather pillow. The breakfast was delicious and huge and set in a beautiful nook. Mike cleared snow off both our cars and... More

We stayed here for two nights and it is the ONLY place that we will stay when we return to Killington. Mike and Barb were so accommodating and take great pride in their business. The house is snuggled in on the quiet countryside and is less than 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle at the resort. There are two... More

We stayed at this B&B for two nights. The location was great, close to everything but set back enough so that it was more relaxing than being in the middle of all the Inns and hotels/motels. Mike was very nice and accommodating. He made us a great breakfast both days we were there and even cleaned the snow off of... More

My wife and I stayed here based on Trip Advisor reviews, and are glad we did. I would give this review five stars if the rooms were ensuite. Having said that, our bedroom and the bathroom were both very clean. The bedroom was very comfortable, and having the brook just outside our window made for very relaxing sound effects. Mike,... We stayed at this great B&B as part of our engagement trip and the experience was wonderful. The home is cute, nestled in the mountains off a dirt road. The hosts give you a warm greeting and offer suggestions on what to do in the area. There is a great small waterfall within walking distance as well. The rooms are... More

This is a wonderful spot, nestled in the woods. Mike is an attentive host who is clearly and rightfully proud of the retreat he and Barb have created. They provide a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, delicious breakfast, as well as interesting conversation.

This is a very unique house off an easily accessible dirt road with no sounds of civilization, just the sound of a wonderful brook adjacent to the home. Mike, the owner, is a truly warm person who makes a great breakfast. This is actually in the town of Killington, but off the main road. A great place to unwind, with... More
