We stayed here for one night on a family tour of New Engand. The owners made us feel extremely welcome and were very helpful with information about places to visit and resturants to eat at. The room was large, well maintained and the beds large and comfortable. The children appreciated the magazines and board games available around the inn. There was... more

My wife and I just returned from a 10-day tour of Vermont, NH and Maine. I played golf at 7 different courses and my wife toured around walking and shopping while I was gone. We both agree our stay in Killington at the Greenbrier was our favorite. I was referred to the Inn by Green Mountain National Golf Course (I... more

We booked our stay based on a friends recommendation and it more than lived up to their praise. It is a unique property which although located right off the main road, Route 4 is tucked away so that you feel removed from the activity. A great location. I loved the feeling of a country inn you get as soon as... more

Just returned from a mid week ski trip at Killington. We booked the Greenbrier based on the excellent reviews it received on this website. We were not disappointed, and it lived up to the wonderful reviews. Although the Inn is old, it has character. It is well maintained, and the washroom facilities have been updated. Our room was spacious, clean... more

My family has been skiing Killington and staying at the Greenbrier for five years now. We love it. It feels more like a home away from home than any hotel I have stayed at. I live in New York City and this is one of my favorite escapes, the friendly happy atmosphere and the warm way the place is put... more

We took everybody's advice and decided to stay here while we went to killington for the first time. Maybe we got a bad room and just had bad room service. But, I didn't think of it so great compared to everyone else. First of all, for a couple it is not romantic in my defintion. The small queen size bed... more

We have been coming to Killington for years, we have driven by dozens of times but had never stayed - boy have we been missing out. Good friends of ours raved about the Greenbrier and now we know why. Otto, Steve and Abby, thank you, your hospitality is outstanding we are already looking forward to our next stay. more

We stayed at the Inn during Thanksgiving weekend. It was the perfect vacation. The Inn is inviting and warm as are its friendly owners. The rooms are very clean and large with private balconies. The Greenbrier location is fantastic: a very short drive to Killington and Pico ski resorts and all area restaurants and shops. The people that work at... more

I had planned a trip to go up and see the fall foliage. The weather had been very rainy, but I went up nonetheless. What a relaxing time! Where the rain outside was a little chilly; the service the lobby and the fireplace made me feel nice and cozy. It was very relaxing and friendly. What an enexpectedly great trip.... more

Stayed a Thursday and Friday night and felt like we had the whole town to ourselves! The Greenbrier is warm and inviting as are its friendly owners. The rooms are very clean. Our room had new carpeting and was good-sized and comfortable. The Greenbrier location is fantastic: a very short drive to Killington and Pico ski resorts and all area... more
