A stay at the Greenbrier was definitely one of the highlights of the 3 week trip my wife and I did to New England. After having a bad experience the previous night at the dirtiest hotel I have encountered, the Greenbrier is the opposite end of the scale, it is exceptional. The inn is absolutely spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and... More

I Enjoyed previous visit but this time perhaps the stars were not aligned. When I checked in the clerk asked for credit card, then CHARGED entire stay and handed me a a tiny receipt for full amount. The door lock did not work correctly for the entire stay even though management knew of the problem. The nicely sized and decorated... More

After having seen the awesome gift shop for years we finally discovered Greenbrier had rooms, too, and booked for a night so we could do some fall hiking. Rooms are in the back, so not easily noticed from the road, but location makes rooms very quiet. We will definitely return to this lovely, family-owned inn. Top scores for comfort, cleanliness,... We travel alot and have stayed at many hotels and Inns, bed and breakfast etc; I must tell anyone who travels to Killington Vt. dont bypass this Inn. The owner, his wife and staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. When you wake up in the morning and head for breakfast (which is included in your stay) the... More

The gentleman was so pleasant when I called directly to make the reservation and everyone was just as nice and helpful when we stayed. The room was very nice and very clean. The building is older (and quaint) but don't let that negatively influence you. The rooms were very well appointed. It was so nice to get away from the... More

We stopped in to shop at the gift shop at approximately 5:10 and were "welcomed" by a woman at the door who promptly informed us that they were closing at 5:30, we browsed around briefly and while coming around the corner I was approached by another woman who basically said " o.k., so you're all set ? We are closing... More

Booked a Ski and Stay trip without knowing the Inn and were pleasantly surprised. Owned by Steve and Jennifer, whose father Otto still helps at the Inn and mother Kathy runs the gift shop. Tom is resident manager and only non-family employee. The rooms are spacious and super clean; housekeeper hardworker. Classical music plays in the common area, TV and games... More

After a long journey, we arrived to be greeted by Tom. Very welcoming and we soon settled in. The location is good. It is a bit of a drive to the slopes,5-10 mins, but don't be put off. Unless you are on the mountain itself you have to drive! The car park for the slopes is so easy and 2... More

I stayed at this hotel for MLK weekend with a few friends to go skiing/snowboarding at Killington and Pico. We were pleasantly surprised with the Greenbrier; what a find! Even though we arrived late (close to midnight), they waited up for us to check in. The room was comfortable and pretty spacious for the 4 of us. It was a... More
