Recently visited Killington for a quick ski weekend w the kids. Choose the Grey Bonnet after reviewing numerous websites, reading multiple reviews and doing some price comparisons. What I found is generally Killington/Rutland is a seasonally based, leisure destination. Therefore not many hotels here can sustain high quality, high service and low rates. Just not happening. But the Grey Bonnet... More

This place probably used to be nice many years ago, but now it is just old, smelly, and in desperate need of updating. I wish I could submit some pictures... Rusted bath tub, broken toilet, pealing paint on the ceiling, old smelly carpets. I used my coat as a blanket because the bedding is old and smelly. The towels are... More

We were a multinational group of 4 independent travellers arriving quite late without an advance booking and seeking accommodation for one night only. This is not a grand hotel but has the feel of a well used and cared for ski lodge from a bygone age. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Our first floor room was clean and comfortable... More

You're made to feel like it's your home. VERY friendly...great breakfast...everyone involved with the Inn is sooooo personable. This was our first time staying there, and It's more than likely to be our place to stay in Vermont. We don't ski, but I would live to be there during the ski season just to enjoy the huge fireplace. Can't say... More

We just had a group of 34 for a 3 day weekend. They bent over backwards to please us and gave what ever we asked for. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves. Food was very good, pool was great, room was clean, and bed was very good.

This place is affordable, but at a cost. I've been coming to Killington for the past four years and each year stay somewhere different to get a good idea of local hotel values because I intend of returning each year for a long time. We paid about $150/night with taxes/fees added. I will break down the review with positives and... More

My husband and I just spent 2 nights in Killington over Presidents weekend. The Grey Bonnet covers all the basics and has a typical VT inn feel. If you expect 5 star luxury resorts then just don't stay in Vermont. Inn keepers/staff were friendly. This place is great for a ski weekend although overpriced on a holiday weekend (but you... More

I have been coming here for 10 years and my husband has been coming here for 24. So far this is my favorite inn. It feels like a home away from home. My favorite part of the Grey Bonnet is their beautiful stone fireplace. My husband and I like to relax here at the end of our day with a... More
