I came here from NYC with my girlfriend for some spring skiing. I hadn't heard of the Trailside Inn before. But we rolled the dice because we found a fantastic deal online. As an experienced traveller, having lived 6 months at the Waldorf-Astoria and a range of other places around the country, I feel like a competent judge of accommodations.... More

I stayed at The Trailside Inn last week with my girlfriend and had the most amazing experience. A comfy and cozy room that made me feel like home, the huge common area/living room with the biggest fire place I've ever seen that hosted our Rummy 500 feuds, the great snowshoeing property and the close 10 min proximity to Killington Mountain... I stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend for a ski/snowshoe getaway. The Inn is very cozy and has undergone recent renovations which gives it a cabin-like feel. The rooms are spaciaous and have nice hot showers. The service is awesome and we had a great time hanging in the main common room by the huge fireplace playing games.... More

I was up here with a huge group of people Friday/Saturday nights. I read the other reviews on here and was really nervous about the "mice" situation. When I got to my room, I did a full inspection all over the place. What mice? I didn't notice anything that would say there was an infestation here and after two days... More

Where do I start? 1. On the last night of our stay, we discovered that there were mice in the room; We found mice dropping on the bed and a partially eaten bar of soap. The following morning and upon our checkout, when I grabbed the paper bag on the floor which contained our snacks and fruits, to our dismay,... More

I stayed here with 3 friends for a ski weekend at Killington. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, the service was great and and we loved the big comfortable common room. We were happy to hang out, drink wine and play some board games after a long day of skiing. Great value for the money, will definitely... More

I stayed at Trailside with a large group of skiers/snowboarders. It only takes 8 minutes to get to Killington Mountain. The lodge was just remodeled and has large common areas that are suitable for groups. It was so nice that most nights we decided to stay at the lodge, play board games, and relax by the fire. I would definitely... More

A group of us stayed here because there was nothing left at Killington within our price range and we were pleasantly surprised! It turned out to be only minutes from the mountain, there was a common area with a huge fireplace that was great for hanging out after a long day of skiing, the rooms were very clean and the... More

We stayed at the Trailside Inn once for a wedding and again for a week long ski vacation. Killington Mountain is a couple miles away and Pittsfield is a great place to stay, if you're looking to take a vacation in VT! They have 2 different types of rooms. Half of the rooms are like a hotel/b&b room with everything... More

The Trailside was recommended to us via long time friends that were getting married in the area. Upon checking in we were told that our "room was not a private room, and the empty beds could be rented out at anytime."There is also a crudely framed note in the room explaining that if any extra towels or beds are used... Angela - thank you so much for taking the time to review our property. As new owners/innkeepers to Trailside, it is certainly disappointing to read of your experience. We pride ourselves on being very welcoming and would hope that you would reconsider visiting us again in the future. We've made lots of positive changes and would love it if you... More
