What an amazing and unexpected experience at the Trailside inn! The Inn, is exactly what you envision when you think about a quaint, warm and comfortable INN. Wonderful ambiance, picturesque setting, fantastic INN owners; were just the high level impressions. The INN has a warm and inviting center area with movies, beautiful wood tables, huge fireplace and plenty of couches,... More

Just something super cool and simply chic about the trailside inn. I saw the pictures online of the clean, slightly funky room units with the thick slab handcrafted wooden head boards and I knew I wanted to stay there. The main living space with the huge stone fireplace and giant wooden tables was all so quintessential ski country yet hip... More

We stayed here with friends in February, 2015. The Inn is clean and comfortable. The rooms are basic, no dressers, but roomy - and clean! The boys shared an 8-bunk room and really enjoyed it. The owners, Josh and Ann, are young, pleasant and helpful. The large tables in the Great Room easily accommodate guests for the continental breakfast and... More

We stayed at the Trailside Inn during Presidents Day weekend and it was great! The owner and the people there are just so nice and pleasant. The place is nice and clean and very comfortable! Nothing better than coming in from the frigid cold to a nice warm fireplace. We particularly loved the game room. Spent countless hours there bonding... More

Stayed with two other friends in the awesome room with a triple bunkbed. Rooms are basic and clean. It was a little chilly in our room, but Josh the innkeeper provided us with a mini space heater which helped out. He was also very friendly and informative about the ski areas, restaurants and other attractions nearby. The common area is... More

Stayed here Valentine's Day weekend. Given the date and the short notice on which we booked, the price paid was a great value. The style of this place is very Vermont. Attractive wood flooring and lacquered hardwood communal breakfast tables with heavily-bearded innkeeper to match. Innkeeper was very friendly and gave us great advice on where to ski. Breakfast was... More

We recently went on a three day ski weekend and chose this inn over more commercial or resort hotels and it definitely enhanced our trip! The inn had very clean rooms, comfortable beds lemongrass soap/shampoo (the best scent in the world). The rooms also don't have TV's but if you venture out to the common room you'll be able to... The hotel is simply amazing. The decoration of the place and rooms is superb, there is a big social area with this amazing wood tables, an enormous chimney and a really nice view of the forest. Josh and his wife are the best hosts, they advised us in everything from the best trails to take at Killington Ski Resort, to... More

First time staying at Trailside Inn, not only were the accommodations perfect for a big group of friends the but super close to Killington Ski Resort. The room was suitable for a group of friends, great congenital breakfast and a nice big warm fire to warm up in front of after a long day of snowboarding. Close to restaurants and... More

We stayed in one of the bunk rooms- nothing fancy but very clean and warm which is really all we needed. Luckily not too much noise from the hallway so good sleeping conditions too. Breakfast is continental as advertised. Our only wish would be for a full breakfast (eggs, etc) prior to skiing. But for the money, this inn is... More
