We returned in early April (just prior to them closing for a month for refurbishment during slow season) for a long weekend with returning guest rate at well under $100 pretty night all inclusive of taxes and breakfast. I think there are 3 critical basic elements to evaluate all overnight properties: LOCATION: 5/5 excellent location across from Pico, 15 minutes... More

N43°39.824' W72°49.997' Built in 1938 as the ski lodge "Long Trail Chalet", this hotel now serves thru-hikers on the Appalachian and Long Trail and homesick Irishmen on route 4 between Killington and Pico. Two themes are all present in the Inn: hiking and Ireland. The Inn is a temporary home and clubhouse to hikers pausing along the nearby Appalachian and... More

We were looking for a place near Killington that would accommodate our dog, and found this place which was only 7 miles from the resort. The fireplace suite, which accommodate pets, was at bit outdated, but the inn was great. Breakfast and dinner were included and were wonderful with a nice variety! Duck and Ahi Tuna for dinner and French... More

Fantastic little ski lodge complete with their own Irish Pub (very friendly) that had live music and separate wonderful restaurant. Full beakfast comes with room and it is awesome, don't miss out! Service at restaurant was very good, prompt. Nice ambiance in dining room. Big comfy common room with great fireplace ( so tired of fake gas fireplaces) The particular... More

We had a great weekend, as expected. This is a great little inn, with a great pub, food and atmosphere. The staff is excellent..very friendly. This charming is in a prime location. Couldn't ask for a better atmosphere. Five star luxury it is not, but a great place to relax with a beer, listen to some great Irish tunes, and... More

I should have know there was a problem when I checked in and Okie the front desk attendant made me prepay in full for the room for my three night stay. I quickly found out why! I opened the door and ghosts of my childhood past floated by: I was back in the sixties on a ski holiday with my... More

We had a great 4 nights here, the rooms are warm and cosey, the lounge and open fire has a homely feel about it, the bar is draped in Irish memorabilia, the food was excellent and the service and banter from Murray, Bob & Owen is second to none. Thanks to the whole team.

The good: -Super friendly and helpful staff. Okie was warm and welcoming when we first arrived and was always there to offer tips on getting around or little bits of history about the Inn. Owen, the bartender, was attentive and conversational. -The food is Amazing! Our breakfasts and dinners were included in our room rate. This is an Irish place... More

Innkeepers Murray and Patty McGrath have created a wonderful blend of a rustic inn and bed and breakfast coupled with an amazingly authentic Irish pub. If your looking to spend time on "screens" aka tv, internet, etc, this is not the place for you... but if you want to spend time with family and friend and even make some new... More

My husband and I stopped into the pub 10 years ago and promised ourselves that the next time we came to Killington, we'd stay at the Inn. It's taken us a decade, but we are just back from five nights at the inn with our five year old son. We enjoyed our fireplace suite. Roomy yet, basic, it served our... More
