My wife and I took our first ever trip to VT to view the beautiful colors of Fall, and we made a great decision to stay at the Inn at Long Trail. Can't say enough good things about it, from it's location in the mountains, to the craziness of having part of the mountain as a wall in the bar.... More

We loved the completely wonderful setting! We knew it would rain the day of our wedding and called ahead to see about having it inside the Inn. Patty McGrath and a great staff consisting of Angela, Ed, and Caroline all chipped in to make our ceremony extra special! Every day of our stay was filled with great food, great service... More

The room provided the basic amenities while the pub and the people provided the atmosphere. This is a place where you can stretch out and get comfortable just about anywhere on the premises after a long day's journey. Whether it be in front of the open hearth fireplace or in front of the T.V. in the media/game room. Okie greets... More

I can honestly say that that it met the expectations. Great place to visit, stay and relax and have a great meal all in the same location. Will definitely come back next year to stay once again and enjoy the live music and activities at the pub.

This place was the friendliest mountain lodge you can imagine. Clean but older rustic accommodations. Irish bar on site. Many things to do within 1/2 hour. Foliage was best I've ever seen 9/26-9/27/14

Began hiking from Williamstown, Mass. while on my LT journey. After a week, came over Killington and the trail led straight, pretty much, to the Inn. The building has many different rooms, catering to all types of folks and dogs too! Large gathering areas, game room, laundry, dining room and great friendly bar. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and helpful.... More

I've written many reviews on hotels, restaurants, attractions etc. but this is the hardest I've had to write. To find the words to express the amazing experience my husband and I had at the Inn at Long Trail is just very difficult. I've stayed at some of the most amazing hotels but this is my favorite for so many reasons.... More

I stayed here while hiking the long trail. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and seemed very happy to have us there and interested in our trip! We had one of the pet rooms so I'm not sure how the rooms in the inn are. The room was a little dingy and outdated, but we had a bedroom, a... More

I stayed at the Inn for 2 nights while thru-hiking the Long Trail, and left with fond memories and a desire to return. The room was clean and simple, just what I needed. The breakfast was exceptionally good, both hearty and delicious. Both are important to a hiker! The staff knew me and my fellow hikers by name, and even... More

Loved our stay. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. We stayed in one of the fireplace suites which was clean and spacious. Our only critique might be that the lighting could be better. The pub was delightful - we went there both nights of our visit for the music and Guinness.
