We had the best time at the Inn at Longtrail. It was recommended by my daughter and her husband whom had stayed at the Inn a few years earlier. They spoke highly of the Inn, on site Irish Pub, music and fun. Upon arrival, we received a friendly check-in. Our room was perfect, spacious bath with whirlpool tub. No TV... More

When hiking the White mountains last year, we decided to stay here for the night before reaching NH. All three of us had the best time with the comedian/singer for the night who told a lot of funny "Paddy Jokes". He even sang a song that featured EVERYONE'S name (who was sitting in the pub). After the long day we... More

My husband & I spent a night here after hiking in the White Mountains on the way to NY. He remembered the charm of the inn from thru hiking the AT in 2012. We were greeted warmly, enjoyed a late dinner in the bar with quick & friendly service, slept in a clean, comfortable "rustic" room, & were served a... More

Nice and warm people. Food is very delicious and moreover the dining area is icing on the cake. Rooms are very cozy and very naturally created which makes you talk about it more when you experience it. oaky is super amazing person and very jovial. Highly recommended

This is a charming, rustic property. Especially attractive for its hiking lore. Stairs made of logs, furniture crafted from branches. It's an authentic lodge. Extremely friendly, accommodating staff. Not a fancy place, but clean and comfortable. Our family (2 parents and 2 adult kids) shared a two-room suite connected by a bathroom. Great setup! Walls are a bit thin...I could... More

Just the right mix - history, hearty food & drink and a warm room. I stayed there for close to a week, got to know family who own and run it and met several guests who return annually. This has what I'd hoped to find in a traditional, VT. country inn. The game collection and library are full of local... More

We stayed here for one night at the start of a road trip. The room was clean and we slept soundly. There were no issues w/ noise or the comfort of the bed. The bathroom was clean as well but didn't have much counter space for my toiletries. The only negative was that the "Hot" and "Cold" labels on the... More

Best place after riding the mountain. Built into the rock-very cool. Stew is incredible. Don't ask for a Black and Tan-ask for a Half and Half and you'll get a little something on top! Great place for AT hikers-exchange box, lots of games, caters to the active crowd although the menu in the dining room gets fancy!

This Inn was charming and family run and had great food. But . . . the rooms were more for backpackers. Very basic and not very clean. The bedding was stained and worn as was the carpet. Most people use this as a hiking lodge and for the price it probably works. It might be worth them having a couple... More

I was very pleased with my stay at the Inn at Long Trail. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and I enjoyed the unique feel that this inn provides. The large community room on the first floor with roaring fire, comfortable seats, and warm setting was awesome. The dining was top notch as well, and I would highly recommend the dining... More
