Loved our stay. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were huge and delicious. We stayed in one of the fireplace suites which was clean and spacious. Our only critique might be that the lighting could be better. The pub was delightful - we went there both nights of our visit for the music and Guinness.

This is a great overnight or weekend get away. Great pub with live Irish music Fri. and Sat. nights. The bartenders pour a perfect Guinness! Pub food is great too. Excellent breakfast in the dining room in the morning. Hiked Deer Leap Trail behind the Inn. Such an amazing view when you reach the top. There's nothing fancy about the... More

We did not stay at the Inn. but we did hike the Deer Leap Trail behind the property and enjoyed some drinks and food afterward. The atmosphere inside the Inn is perfect for a mountain getaway. All of the staff including the owner were extremely friendly and helpful. We especially loved the Irish Pub and the awesome bartender, Owen! We... More

we called last moment and was going to just ask if anything was available since it was 4th of July week end. The women at the desk was so nice I just couldn't say no. The rooms are simple, nothing fancy but we weren't in our room that much. Went for a hike and up the trail next to the... More

I just got back from a weekend trip with my girlfriend. The Inn at Long Trail is an amazing place. It has a great rustic charm. The details and architecture on the inside make for great character. The food in the pub was great. The shepards pie was delicious. The bar was great fun. The best part of the hotel... More

Awesome for Hikers, laundry service and plenty of games to play in the game room for the night! Room was simple but nice. Food is amazing and the breakfast was splendid! Will stay here again when I thru-hike! Great staff and service.

This pub's got character; I'll give it that. The food we ordered was homely and tasty and the barman was reasonably polite. However, if you're English, this is one of those Irish places you need to avoid - walls adorned with Republican paraphernalia and old boys propping up the bar making snide (anti-English) comments. Overall, a rather sinister and threatening... More

May 25-26 2014. let me start off by saying that it is the rustic look that made me book this place. We loved all the wood and the way it was used. loved the furnishings downstairs (wish that decor carried throughout) The check in was fairly quick and painless. we stayed in Room 23. clean. no issues with that at... Partner and I decided to hit southern VT for the Memorial Day weekend to bum around the region and stayed here - great staff - informative and friendly (some a little quirky - in a good way!) and really good food at McGrath's. Couldn't have been happier - great location; totally cool old lodge environment - built in 1937 I... More

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for a ski trip to Killington. I had an amazing experience all around!!! The people were extremely friendly. The food was delicious. They had a nice hot tub (open until 10pm), a bar, and a constantly running fireplace. The interior had that cabinish feel to it with wooden structures, staircase made out... More
