I was very pleased with my stay at the Inn at Long Trail. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and I enjoyed the unique feel that this inn provides. The large community room on the first floor with roaring fire, comfortable seats, and warm setting was awesome. The dining was top notch as well, and I would highly recommend the dining... More

This is our favorite place to stay on skiing and hiking trips (to Killington and Pico mountains) and have been regular visitors for several years. The rooms are comfortable, but not fancy. The main attractions of the inn are the wonderful lobby with a fireplace and musical instruments and the gameroom stocked with wide assortment of classic board games (and... More

Key words: Impressive dinner, cozy living room, great bar/music and rustic feel room. I called the inn last min for a Friday evening room for a last min ski trip for me and my husband. We were told when booking dinner is included in our room rate so we thought, oh Great, we don't have to go and try find... More

We spent three nights in great comfort, easy and in good company. Our gracious host, Okie, imparts all the history, lore, wisdom and fun that you would seek (a life long 'fisherman' with deep knowledge of all things local whether art, music, sights, etc...), a true treasure to get to know worth his weight in pre-Cambrian rock. The atmosphere is... More

Thank you for having us! Great accommodations, super friendly hosts and breakfast. Great for a full day of skiing and being close to the mountain. Big fire place and television to relax and wake up to an eventful next day experience.

Stayed 4 nights over the MLK Holiday Weekend. This was my third time to the Inn and very regrettably most likely my last. My prior two reviews, 2005 and 2012 were glowing 5 Stars, and with good reason. There is a lot to really like about this place. Family run with the same Bartender, Front Desk Clerk and Morning Breakfast... More

Stayed here last weekend. We didn't arrive until 600p -- tired and hungry. We went up into the room and dropped our bag off and then went down to the bar. We ate - and had a few drinks. They had a guy singing Irish favorites - so that was nice. The breakfast in the morning was perfect. No complaints... More

Homelike, home faraway from home, good food. People and place with history and friendly service. Excellent Irish Pub with excellent feeling. Perfect location for hikes. We were there three nights and loved it. That was our second visit but not the last one.

Chose to stay here if you are looking for character and individuality but not really for modern comforts. Very quirky set into the mountain side but also sadly right by a very busy road so we found that our sleep was not what it should have been. Double glazing would have helped. Lovely to have a pub and food on... More

My wife and I took our first ever trip to VT to view the beautiful colors of Fall, and we made a great decision to stay at the Inn at Long Trail. Can't say enough good things about it, from it's location in the mountains, to the craziness of having part of the mountain as a wall in the bar.... More
