My Husband and I first stayed at the Summit in 2007... We fell on love with the homey relaxed atmosphere (and of course the Summit Saints, -at the time Otto and Louise-). As SOON as our girls were old enough to ski- we booked our trips to Killington and of course the Summit! We stayed for four long weekend last... More

Spent a weekend here on February 28-March 3 and what a time we had! Used this as our base for skiing Killington. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. The maple shortbread cookies they leave in your room are yummy. The pub/restaurant/bar is cozy/fun and the food is very, very good. The services across the board is amazing. Great value... More

This is our second year staying here for my son's birthday. The staff is always friendly, and it feels like coming home. The rooms are clean, but the bathrooms could use some updating. Our tub had difficulty draining, and we informed the staff. It was never fixed in our 3 days there. The hot tub is great, and the outdoor... More

We have been going to the Summit as a family and solo for many years. Not as long as many of the guests as repeat stays are the norm rather than the exception, but still a long time. The key elements never seem to change. The friendly, helpful staff. The big log fires. the layout and rooms that are so... More

Used this for skiing in Killington, only a 5 min drive to the bases. Easy to find, nice staff, friendly dogs. Great value with breakfast, food in pub also good. Minor gripe is the dated bathrooms, need updating. Clean throughout though.

We – a father and a 12 yrs old son -- just spent 3 days in the Summit Lodge on a short ski getaway, enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly second those who praise the lodge. This is one of the few places out there with a unique character and charm. There are so many hotels and guest houses which feel,... More

We just came back from our favorite place for winter vacation. My entire family loves Summit Lodge. We started coming here about 12 year ago with our children and now with our kids grown up and living faraway, I continue coming each year just with my husband. This cozy place is equally great for families, young couples and for older... More

Summit Lodge offers the old rustic Vermont ski lodge experience we were looking for. But it's the service and attention to details that makes this place a keeper.Everything has already been thought of... games, puzzle tables, library, laundry, even popcorn, The facility is bigger than expected but that explains how they can offer so many amenities without feeling crowded... hot... First things first- don't look anywhere else. You NEED to come here, in winter summer spring or fall. Close to the mountain, a complimentary shuttle is included to Snowshed Lodge. For over forty years the lodge has been known for its "Summit Saints" (St. Bernards) who you can read about either in Maxwell's, the breakfast restaurant (on-site and for hotel... More

I organized a trip with adults and kids. We had a great time staying at the Summit Lodge. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. They checked us In quickly and helped us to our rooms with all the luggage. Home made cookies in the room waiting for us. The lodge is very comfortable and charming. Large lobby/family... More
