My family has been visiting The Summit Lodge for 32 years, numerous times a year. My grandparents brought me here for the first time when I was in middle school and I hope to bring my kids here one day. Anyone who visits the Summit Lodge will feel like they're right at home and they will experience great service and... More

My wife and I just returned from a Sunday through Saturday ski week staying at the Summit Lodge. This place is the very definition of an old school Vermont lodge and that is a good thing. Summit Lodge has all the amenities for a great ski vacation: hot tub, outside heated pool, shuttle bus to the mountain, roaring wood fireplaces,... More

I love the Summit Lodge and it's rustic atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always makes you feel like your at home. I love the home cooked breakfast each morning and after dinner drinks in the Saints Pub at night. On the Friday and Saturday nights in the winter they have Frank Chase on Piano, always making... I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Killington. Unique rustic lodge adorned with hand hewn timbers. Helpful staff, and complementary shuttle to the mountain. In addition Frank Chase is the best piano bar player/ entertainer we ever heard. The owner makes sure he is present and your needs are attended to. Great breakfast. Beautiful grounds. Overall best vale on the mountain... More

Stayed here 25 years ago and it was a memorable trip. Boy, the years haven't been kind. Shabby and run down. The original owners really did a great job. The current owner doesn't seem to get it. My room STUNK of moth balls. I had to sleep with the windows open. I woke in the morning with a pounding headache,... More

Nice hotel with great service. If you get a chance to pick your room, get one upstairs because the lower ones are noisy when someone is walking on the second floor. Breakfast is great. The dogs are a great fun, but remember that they are dogs, not humans! Well located to go the ski resort, if you want to drive,... More

Spent a few days in Killington for a ski "getaway" with the girls. The Summit is a cozy, friendly, and welcoming inn, with the added attraction of 2 loveable St. Bernard ambassadors! Meal times are flexible, with delicious home cooked meals--a must before and after skiing! There is complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the slopes, and a hot... More

Just returned from a girls getaway at the Summit. An incredible trip. It could have started off on a bad note since our van couldn't make it up the drive due to the <awesome> snow storm. But Bill came to our rescue and worked for nearly an hour to dig us out. The dogs are adorable, the staff is friendly,... More

Once again an outstanding weekend at the annual wine tasting weekend. We have been going to the Summit for about ten years. The staff and service are exceptional. The meal and wine pairing are fantastic. We will be coming here for many years to come.
