My husband and I recently stayed at the Summit Lodge in Killington for a midweek ski trip getaway. The lodge is conveniently located just off the road to the ski area atop a hill. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We were warmly greeted by a professional staff and the two resident St. Bernards, Rachel and Teddy. Upon... More

My wife and I stayed at the Summit for three nights and it really exceeded our expectations. Originally we were only looking for a place to sleep during our ski trip. But at the Summit Lodge we found much more than just a comfortable bed. The hotel is strategically located, just 5 minutes away from the mountain and next to... More

Stayed here for three nights the first week of February to ski at Killington Mountain. The staff: very friendly and helpful, and work very hard to make you happy. The hotel: The hotel has an old ski chalet feel; it is dated and not brand new, but that's part of the "Vermont charm." The beds could have been a little... More

We spent 3 amazing nights at this hotel. It was very relaxing and felt like home. Service was friendly, good breakfast is a huge plus. It was my first time in VT, but definitely not my last. I was always afraid of 5 hr drive from Manhattan, but it turned out to be not that big of a deal with... More

The hotel staff was beyond excellent! Very friendly, and accommodating. Great room with a beautiful view of the mountains. Location is just minutes from all attractions that capture the winter sports and summer events for families and singles. I loved the fact that this resort has something for everyone. The restaurant is great and the lounge/bar is fun. The common... More

We stayed here for 1 night in October. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge is a Swiss retreat complete with a massive fireplace in the lobby, comfortable furniture and beautiful St. Bernard dogs to add to the European atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable and good value for the price. We would stay here again.

We have made this our hotel of choice when staying at Killington. It has a homey feel with the wonderful common area and huge fireplace. The saints are always a treat and their trusty sidekick Astro. You will not need to leave the property once you have settled in. From food to drink to entertainment they have it all. Our... More

My wife and I had a long weekend out of Boston and made the Summit Lodge our first of three night stops on a tour of Vermont's beautiful foliage. Any traveler should know that this is an alpine themed lodge that is undoubtedly popular during ski season, but that should not deter one from considering it as good stopping place... More

We had a family room which had a double bed and two twins. Staff was friendly, room OK. Pillows need upgrading. Breakfast was a buffet that sat out for hours - during "prime" foliage season, i;d think they could do better. and it was 14 dollars, even for kids! this was robbery for some woody bacon and overcooked eggs. The... More

My boyfriend adores St Bernard's and his had passed some time ago. We booked an off season trip to this ski town largely to play with two Saints that call this place home. The owner was personable and attentive as was the rest of the staff and the dogs really are so much of what makes the place special. The... More
