My husband and I stayed at the Summit Lodge for our anniversary during "leaf peeping" season and LOVED the familiarity and down home comfort of this lodge. The staff made us feel like we were visiting friends and not just guests in a hotel. The dogs added a down home feeling that was unexpected and delightful. Most of the individuals... More

The hotel is little shabby, but accomodations and food were adequate. The hot tub makes up for everything else. I enjoyed a week's stay while participation in Appalachian Trail Adventures daily hiking program which is based at the Summit. Massages and yoga and tennis classes available by appointment.

I stayed here as a guest with Appalachian Trail Adventures, which is based at The Summit Lodge. The staff here are the real draw - they made me feel extremely welcome from the outset, and were all very keen to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable trip. The lodge itself is quite eccentrically themed around St Bernard... More

Stayed here September 30th. Truly rustic mountain lodge with lots of character. Friendly staff. Very quiet this time of year. Small, but comfortable room was adequate to meet our needs for a one-night sleep-over on a New England road trip. No complimentary breakfast, but prepared breakfast is available for $12 in dining room. Front desk hostess provided great recommendation for... More

The garden and landscaping were quite beautiful, but the hotel rooms were very dated, and had very hard beds. Beautiful views from the private balconies over looking the Vermont mountains. I paid nearly $200 for a one night stay in October, and felt it was very much over priced for the quality of the rooms! And you had to pay... More

My husband and I stayed at Summit Lodge for a weekend for his birthday and had a great time! Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that we went out to use the wading pool and the door locked behind us so we were trapped outside in our swimsuits until we could flag someone... More

My niece was recently married at this wonderful place. The people who run the lodge were so helpful, pleasant and just all round awesome. The outside setting for the wedding was wonderful. the gazebo sat just in front of an awesome view of the mountain foliage. The area behind near the pool was beautiful to hang out while waiting for... More

As always, our reviews are based (solely) on our tastes/experiences and are never intended to persuade/dissuade anyone from patronizing a business. Our reason for selecting Summit Lodge, my daughter was getting married there. We stayed at the Summit Aug. 20 - 23, 2014. It's an older, rustic lodge with numerous rooms, passageways, stairs and outside areas; the entire place had... More

We have been visiting Killington and staying at the Summit Lodge, at least once a year, for many years. On our most recent visit we stayed at the Summit Lodge for several days on a family vacation. You will enjoy your stay at the Summit. You will experience the warm hospitality of Billy Bauer, the Innkeeper for many years, and... More
