We wanted to get away to do some hiking and wandering around Vermont and found this small boutique hotel to use as our base camp. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit dated but we didn't mind. The free breakfast was good and filled our tummies between hikes and adventures. Each room had a deck so... More

The location is wonderful. The people that work here were very nice. The breakfast was so so, could be improved. The indoor pool was clean and nice;the hot tub was good too! We had a fun time and found the room size very comfortable.

Comfortable bed (important), plenty of room, good bar with snow movies running and a well served buffet for breakfast included. Not exactly cheap but that well compensates any need to have to drive to the hill - is walking distance

The location is wonderful. The people that work here were very nice. The breakfast was so so. The indoor pool was clean and nice. I would probably stay here again and just avoid the restaurant. There are so many good places to eat in the area anyway. The place is not as bad as the other reviewers say. We had... More

There's nothing basically wrong with this hotel except the price. It's a good, clean budget hotel but it isn't worth upwards of $170 a night. The website description is very different to the reality. The place is very dated and in desperate need of decoration and modernisation. The bar is sparse, tatty and totally lacking atmosphere (some music would help).... More

Old without charm. TV set is from 1980s. Embarassing. We literally froze to death in our room and had to sleep in ski gear, hats and wool socks. Can you imagine?? And we were not alone, at breakfast all guests were shivering. Refund was requested and refused. Extremely rude receptionist. It is so bad, I am fining a complaint with... More

Great location, just a few steps to the closest base of the mountain and few mins driving to any of the other ones. Cozy lodge with good amenities like indoor pool, bar, sauna, etc. Maybe a bit pricey if your only looking for a place to stay while your main focus is the mountain, but if traveling with family a... Arrived at the hotel at one in the morning and were told there was an additional $170 dollars fee for my two six year olds for... More

No heat in our room. Told to plug space heater in & leave it running. Locked the pool early when they saw our bus unload. Changed our accommodations last minute. Beds are like spring cots. They are just awful! At check out no one was at the window for the longest time. Finally just left our card keys on the... More
