very friendly staff and near everything. has nice lobby and common room with warm fire place and an outside pool with the temperature over 100 degrees. really nice to relax in after the slopes. the rooms are clean , beds are comfortable, TVs a bit old school but you owe it to yourself to get out and experience the bars... We actually had a good stay. We were there 4 nights. We were very busy sightseeing so we basically slept there. The lodge is dated but it looked like they were doing construction hopefully they will update it. Our room was a one bedroom, it was clean but the carpet seemed worn. The workout room only had weights, no treadmill... More

North Star is very neglected, especially when compared to nearby Smuggler's Notch which had much better units, many many more amenities (multiple indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, tennis, etc, etc) and costs half the points. We dropped 50,000 RCI time share points on a 4 night stay. For this we got: Trash under a bed. Hairball in the corner in... More

We stayed one night and felt the place was just so old and worn out. So many little problems and just a bad layout and not really a nice place to stay. Just not worth $100. Pool was small and uncomfortable. Carpet was worn, paint was old and bad colors. Old TV's. And the water was brown, very disgusting.

Spent 2 relaxing days at the lodge. The lodge was quiet with a friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms were clen and comfortable. The only down size would be that they need upgrading, especially the washrooms. Outdoor heated pool which we took advantage of. Was a nice relaxing stay. Restaurants near the resort a little pricey for the summer season.

Lodge was so updated I was having nervous nelly fits thinking about sleeping there. But the room while old was very clean and the beds are actually comfortable. Downside - it was hot and we had to use the wall mounted air conditioner - it rattled and made tons of noise like we were listening to an engine all night.... More

I booked this Hotel/Lodge through Expedia. It was under 90$ - amazing value. However, it is the location that is spectacular. It is obvious it is geared for skiers. Located on a mountain side with outstanding scenery, a restaurant on site which was very good, an outdoor heated pool and a sauna. My only complaint is the sauna was not... More

My husband and I went to Vermont in June for cool climates, beautiful scenery and no tourists. We got exactly what we paid for !!! Unfortunately, it was cooler(downright cold) and very rainy.. more than we expected. But, this part of the country is beautiful and the weather wasn't a problem. You will need a car to appreciate the area.... More

Easy check in. Hotel has four levels but 3 are actually ground level. It is on the Killington access road. Summer no food our drink on premise. But upscale restaurant a short walk away. Pool was well heated. Rooms are clean beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms not luxurious TVs old. Good wifi. Close free parking. AC small noisy... More

We rented a one bedroom/one bath unit for a week and its lovely. Everything looks newly painted with a wonderful spa bath, beautifully tiled bathroom with shower. Lots of drawer space and its perfect for two people. Sleeps four but not enough room for closet space, etc. Great price for a timeshare switch, since our original timeshare burned down a... More
