Staying with friends who own condos in the Oaks buildings for years has been a highlight for us for more than ten years. This year we decided to add a day to our trip and come on our own the Friday night before joining them for the week on the Saturday. I phoned the Reservation line and (Craig?)helped me arrange... Can't say enough about the quality of the terrain and layout of the mountain for all types of skiers. Even though their lifts are slow and outdated, don't let that stop you from going there. It's the best mountain to ski out east except for maybe Tremblant. It puts Stowe it's sister mountain to shame.

This family oriented resort is just the best for enjoyable vacations with family and friends, including various activities as well as relaxing time together. We first visited Smuggs in 1998 and this past week was our 30th visit – Smuggs has become our vacation destination of choice! The ski school here is top notch. The instructors encourage and develop an... More

My wife and I along with another couple enjoyed our stay for a long weekend. This resort is more family oriented which we didn't mind. All the food was great from every restaurant on site also. I have read reviews criticizing the service but this isn't NYC,this is Vermont. With that said, the food is excellent. The room came furnished... More

Fantastic family ski resort. This is our 30th week here and it keeps getting better. They promise that your kids will have fun and they always make sure that they do. Wonderful place for all ages even if you do not ski!

Hello from Smugglers' - We're glad that your many visits to the resort have been enjoyable for your family. We appreciate your observation that visitors do not have to ski to enjoy Smugglers'. From artists' classes to the zip line canopy tour, there are many activities for non skiers (or skiers and riders looking for off-the-slopes fun). Also, non skiers... More

We love Smuggs!!! We have been coming here for years and we will continue to come here!!! That being said there are a LOT of areas within the resort that need improvement. Smuggs ski/snowboard school is first rate. Kids and adults alike will improve their techniques with the wonderful instructors that Smuggs employs. The skiing/riding at Smuggs is amazing. They... This is the 3rd year I've spent a long ski weekend with friends up at Smuggler's Notch in Liftside 12, which is located at the base of Morse Mountain. It is super easy to get to the Village lift from Liftside, and you can get over to the Madonna Lifts in one run from the top of Morse. Same on... More

Hello - Thanks for reviewing your recent stay with us. You seem to have found a home away from home in your chosen Liftside condominium! The Liftsides do offer quick and easy access to both the village lifts and village amenities. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again. We rented a 3 bed, 2 bath condo at Smuggler's Notch for our February vacation. We were pleasantly surprised with the amazing accommodations! The housekeeping staff was very responsive, polite and prompt when we needed more towels and an extra fry pan! The reception staff and the mountain staff were all very pleasant. Mountain conditions were top notch, though the... More
