We stayed at Smuggs for 3 nights this past February vacation. My kids and I are relative beginners, but the 3 mountains have great skiing/snowboarding for everyone. As many other reviews have mentioned, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed at Slopside, which was absolutely fantastic. It was like having a home away from home, and we could... We just returned from our 2nd trip to Smuggler's Notch and it was just as brilliant as our first trip. What a wonderful Family Resort! Our kids (8, 11, 12) had an excellent time skiing, swimming & tubing. The ski school instructors are fantastic and our kids really learned a lot and had fun. The ski-in/ski-out condo we stayed in... This was our 3rd year staying at smugglers notch with our 3 kids (3,6 and 9). All 3 of my kids spend their day in the all day ski camp and they love love it. The instructora are amazing and take good care of the kids. My little one cried dropping off and they know how to calm them down... More

Whoever recruits and trains the staff should be commended. They are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you do not have a car, you are stuck with the resort food and the $100 shuttle from the Burlington airport. The Hearth and Candle was the only decent restaurant and it's not open for lunch. The Mountain Grill is a candidate for... More

Smuggler's Notch Resort is worth every minute of our long drive to get there. With three children learning to ski and snowboard, we found their snow school staff to be professional and patient. There were plenty activities for the kids off of the mountain as well, including an indoor pool and arcade. The restaurants on-site were phenomenal with many local... More

This was our second visit to Smugglers' Notch. It took us a while to finally decide to return, mostly because during our first visit (which was during the 2013-14 ski season), we were placed in very dated accommodations that I found to be somewhat sub-standard. (I posted a review of our first trip on TripAdvisor.) This time, however, I did... More

Hello - Thank you very much for returning to Smugglers' and for providing such a thorough review (again!). We're glad that you enjoyed the Mountainview home; it is lovely, but we are sorry to hear that there were housekeeping issues and apologize for that service failure. Regarding wifi, we are making additional upgrades in the spring in an effort to... More

I acknowledge my 3 star-rating is perhaps a bit harsh overall considering that Smuggs really is a great place for family and kids. I used to come here regularly as a kid up to 15 years ago. So although it brought back a lot of memories to come here now, it was also somewhat disappointing to see that NOTHING changed..... More

We have been coming to Smuggs over the Presidents Day Weekend every single year since 2008. We fell instantly in love with the mountain, and since then it has become our MOST FAVORITE PLACE to ski! We ski with a big group of friends/family and every year the group grows bigger and bigger because of one reason: Smuggs is like... More

Since 1992 our family has looked forward to our trips home to Smugg’s. Since our earliest trips we have been touched by how friendly, caring and helpful the staff is. We’ve brought family and friends along on numerous occasions. After one family members second trip to Smugg’s they bought a week of their own. On several occasions our Nephew has... More

We stayed there the week between Christmas and New Years. We had a gorgeous condo in the north village. Very easy to get around with shuttle. We did not use our car all week! Mountian is great and the ski school was awesome. My kids took a snowboard lesson and improved tons!! The instructors were really wonderful. The fun zone... More
