First of all we were seasonals at Peak View. We were told that functions booked at the hotel would not interfere with the campground. Than the older miserable gentleman came the day before a wedding and informed us that our children could not leave the site the day of the wedding. (no pool, or playground, which are the only 2... This campground is quite nice actually, atop a hill near Jay Peak. There are of course a few negatives: the water didn't smell good; no hiking or bike paths on the premises, and its facing the parking of the hotel and tavern, but the parking is not that close. Still, cars and patrons of the tavern may be a bother... More

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Do not camp here as you will regret every minute of it. We thought that this would be a good place for family camping based on the website and the fact that Jay is starting to be a destination spot. It was like camping in a bar parking lot next to a Walmart, except it was a field. The... More

I love Jay & I love the Cedarwood Resort, it's cheap conveniently located and food is ok. This place is great for your average joe and his or her friends who are just looking to get on the slopes without breaking the bank. But let's get a few things straight your in Jay VT. 1. There aren't too many 5... More

Couldn't warm up the room. It was OK for sleepng though. The water smelled of sulphur which made the rest of the room smell as it did my clothes after I left. Walls and celing like paper. Could hear everyone walking around. The $42.00 tuna steak was hard enough to mash the baked potato they served without butter or sour... More

We got stuck in this place because we couldn't get anything directly at the mountain of Jay Peak. The one good thing about this place is its proximity to the skiing resort. The restaurant they have is acceptable considering "American Standards". Breakfast left several items to be desired. The room we had was not kept in half decent condition, it... More

To start our friends who had a upstairs room found a mouse in their room, which when we told the front desk she said "ok" & handed us a trap. When the mouse was caught they wouldnt come to get it. Our room was in the basement, which had no heat and smelt like sewage, and cigarette smoke. Once again... More

Beautiful place! We stayed at the campground at Cedarwood Resort and ended up spending most of our evenings at the lodge because the people were so friendly - the owners and the employees. The food was scrumptious and plentiful; the lodge, restaurant and bar was clean and inviting. The campground was surrounded by forest yet we had lots of open... More

We booked this place for 1 night while we were travelling through and found it to be the worst place we have ever stayed. The room we had booked like nothing on their website. Our room was filthy, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom including the towels were dirty...everywhere was filthy. There was no air conditioning and the hallways and... More

My family and I stayed here on a whim last night with plans to ski Jay Peak in the morning..looked great from the outside. Once in the room it appeared clean but the wallpaper was peeling both in room and bathroom, stains on the lamp shades, the bathroom fan did not work, and the shower drain/spray were all rusty. In...
