To be fair it was New Years day. But, it was a complete mess. They were very busy but seemed more interested in paying attention to the regulars and not the tourist. Most of the time the staff was chatting and not checking the tables. We went there to escape the food at the jay peak hotel. Should have stayed... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice restaurant on the premises. The rooms are small but cozy.A real ski lodge atmosphere. There is a rustic convenience store right across the street with lots of Vermont gift items.

We visited Jay Village Inn to dine at their rustic, cozy restaurant with 9 other friends. Our night began with poolside cocktails just out back followed by sitting at 7 p.m. This restaurant offers an extensive menu with direct oversight by a very experienced owner. The service was excellent as we were seamlessly ushered from poolside to table Our orders... More

The hotel has a warm atmosphere and a great bar, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room could do with a few upgrades ie curtains and bedding but for the price no major complaints, although a simple coffee maker would be nice and seemed to be standard in all the other hotels we used. The bad review, however,... More

Dear Wendy, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our establishment. I would like to personally apologize for your experience last Sunday 9/21. Note that we do not normally play music (or piano) in the dinning room during the early morning. We did however, have a large reservation for a group of high-school students at breakfast.... More

Look out!! pancakes the size of dinner plates, sides of 3 eggs and plenty of dinner meat although it was breakfast. If you havn't eaten in 2 days this is the place for you. Food flavor is quite good, but not exceptional. Prices are about what you would expect since the Jay Peak resort is just down the road.

In order of excellence: 1. breakfast: really good, huge, share one between two people. great corned beef hash (I normally don't like it) 2. restaurant: a step above. or three. surprisingly good food at a reasonable price, again, huge portions. 3. bar: open late. 4. really friendly and helpful staff. make sure they know if you want your room refreshed-... We had two appetizers, four entrees, 2 desserts & coffee for the five of us. If one of us wasn't a teen age boy, we would have been overrun with food! Huge yummy portions. All 3 wait staff we're helpful, though it was really busy and we would have been out sooner, but packing all the leftovers took a bit.... More

We stayed in Jay Village Inn as a more affordable alternative to the resort up the road. We found the room to be comfortable, if not anything fancy. Besides the usual bedroom/bathroom situation there is a bar and restaurant in the building. We were in the area during SuperBowl Sunday and almost all patrons were locals and the place was... More

Stayed here MLK weekend for two nights. Ate at the downstairs restaurant for breakfast twice and dinner twice. Both meals were awesome - the food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the portions were huge! Great beer selection (5 or 6 local taps, including SwitchBack). Best part of all, though, was the service. All of the staff were incredibly... More

I stayed at the Jay Village Inn for New Years, and had a fantastic time. The rooms are perfect, the service is terrific, and they have a fantastic restaurant. And not much is better than getting in the hot tub and sauna after a hard day of skiing. I would absolutely suggest it. Ask for David on the phone for... More
