Beautiful accommodations and the property is fantastic! Marcia and Peter are great hosts and very accommodating. Amazing breakfasts and Marcia certainly aims to please! She goes out of her way to set a lovely table and takes care of specials needs.

Wow, what a beautiful setting for some relaxation and quiet time after touring Shelburne, Burlington and Stowe. The gardens are amazing and expansive; we had them all to ourselves for a quiet dinner on the patio, and a stroll around the grounds at dusk. The dogs are quite friendly, but our children loved them, even if we're cat people! Marcia... More

The Hidden Gardens Bed and Breakfast is located in Hinesburg, Vt. a short drive from many attractions for a day trip. A special feature of the beautifully designed post and beam home is a 4 sided sunroom filled with light and plants. Breakfast that started with a baked apple was one of the most creative I've ever had at such... More

My time spent at The Hidden Gardens while visiting my son at UVM was a treat, and very much appreciated after long days. Peter will take you on a tour of their immaculate gardens where you feel the love and care of their gardener. Marcia loves her kitchen and will make sure to make you happy with her recipes! Their... This property boasts a spectacular landscape, and, to be fair, Marcia does warn you about the presence of three very amiable labs. However, when we were there, the smell of three unwashed animals, doing the kind of things that dogs are fond of doing, was not conducive to a totally pleasant stay. The animals are undoubtedly adorable, but you really... More

This house and its gardens are as fascinating as the story of how they came to be! Marcia and Peter and their three dogs made us very welcome in their home. Peter's tour of the garden is a must; it's amazing what they've accomplished. Our room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable and Marcia puts a lot of thought... More

My wife, daughter, and I were fortunate enough to get reservations here at the start of the fall foliage scene in northern Vermont. We spent a few more nights in Vermont (because this place was booked....) before heading on to some business further south but our stay at the Hidden Gardens was definitely the highlight. Our hosts were great, the... More

This place is awesome. Marcia was wonderful in helping us to plan a perfect weekend (despite the rain during the ceremony!) for the start of our life together. She arranged for cake & flowers and was patient with the justice of the peace who called numerous times for directions (and got lost anyway). Our boys (then 11 and 13) had... More
