Just home from our 5th consecutive year and already counting down to 2010. Every year gets better. We have two sons, ages 7 and 9, and they have new and more challenging experiences each year, along with the fun of seeing many of the same friends year after year. As adults, I can honestly say it is the most FUN... more

This was our second year at this amazing resort. Year 1 we found it on the internet, knew no one who had ever been, and took a chance. After 48 hours we were convinced that this was our new yearly family trip. We have already reserved year 3 for us in 2010. It's the first vacation where I as the... more

I'm not sure what I can add to the other reviews here. Fantastic activities, wonderful friendly staff, plenty to do (or not) as you like. Kids program was absolutely awesome. They couldn't wait to "go to group." We got a babysitter two nights, and on the third night when we stayed home, the kids said "Oh no, we want JD... more

Wonderful place for a family vacation with children. The kids absolutely love their camp programs, and the adults get to enjoy some time with other grown-ups, or just by themselves. Lovely atmosphere -- everything is done just right, but it's very casual and low-key. The food is terrific and the adult activities (purely optional) are lots of fun. As an... more

We just returned from our first trip to the Tyler Place. We have a four year old and a 2 1/2 year old. I have never returned from a vacation so refreshed and rested. Our kids loved their group activities and could not wait to go -- even our youngest daughter who had never been to preschool or daycare. While... more

Loved it! Our kids (3 and 6 at the time) had a wonderful time -- and we were able to have some adult time too. Great vacation for everyone! I don't think it's only for extroverts -- we didn't find that you had to socialize with others (although everyone we met was delightful). The dining room has small tables and... more

We first stayed at the Tyler Place in 1988 with a three year old. it rained almost every day that year and we still "re-enlisted" for the following summer. The kids programs kept our child happy and we were free to do our own thing. We have been going almost every year since (with 2 years off when our son... more

From a teenager's point of view, Tyler Place is nothing short of AMAZING! I spent 11 summers there and am so sad that my family will not be returning this summer. Not because we don't want to, just due to busy schedules as my sisters and I have gotten older and the added expense of not being kids anymore. We... more

Our third summer vacation at The Tyler Place was as good as it gets. Our family of 6 has always had a great time at The Tyler place. It is like going back in time to a place where you get to see, do, eat, experience for the first time what is really important in life. It is not a... more

My husband went here as a kid and as soon as he told me about I booked opening week for the two of us and our (at the time of our stay) 18 month old son. It was fantastic! We went for 8 days and were sad to go home. We can't wait to go again next year. I just... more
