Our week at Tyler Place was absolutely the best family vacation we have taken. Our kids (5 and 7) loved their groups and happily ran off to join their friends in the mornings and evenings. My husband and I spent mornings kayaking, cycling, doing a low-ropes course, stand-up paddle boarding, or swimming in the lake, and enjoyed more swimming, paddling,... More

You arrive and unload your bags at your cabin. Your kids find all their friends from last year. They hop on their bikes that are part of the deal, and you don't see them again until dinner. That's a daily occurrence... which means mom and dad get to relax, and play at lawn games, or mini-triathlons, or yoga, or pottery,... More

The Tyler Place is a great all inclusive resort to rest and relax away from it all. I recently stayed at the Inn 2 which is pretty centrally located to everything at the resort. The resort has a very rustic feel with all of its cabins and out door activities. The highlight for my family was being able to take... More

The Tyler Place formula, which has been in place for decades, cannot be matched anywhere else. Abounding in natural beauty and wildlife, coupled with multiple ways to engage with that beauty (e.g., kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, biking), surrounded by interesting people and delicious and copious quantities of food equates a week of healthy, energizing, relaxing fun. It is a vacation that... More

My title is not literally true. We are fortunate to be able to go on several vacations a year. However, as all moms know, we never truly get to get a vacation from cooking, cleaning, childcare, breaking up fights, etc...except at Tyler Place. Each day, I eat my meals in peace with other grown-ups. And the food is fabulous, absolutely... More

Thank you for your honest and helpful feedback! We are glad to hear how much you appreciate grown-up meals with your husband and other adults, and appreciate the feedback on children's food - we are constantly working on how to best provide for our (often picky) younger guests at mealtimes. It's great to see that you and your husband are... More

I was moved to write this review now because the more I visit other resorts, the more impressive Tyler Place seems. What's best (and most unusual for all-inclusive resorts): Fantastic food and well-organized kids' programs. Even more important - they really are who they say they are. Visit the website, read it carefully, and if you like what you see,... More

We have gone to Tyler Place for 3 years. This place has something for everyone. Athletics, arts and crafts, water sports, cooking classes. Kids absolutely have a blast with the wonderful camp counselors and wide range of activities.

We stayed at Tyler Place for the first time in June 2014. We were excited to go having read all the reviews we could get a hold of. To be honest, I thought maybe they were too glowing and I was ready to believe that all of those people had drunk the kool-aid. But, no, Tyler really is that awesome!... More

We went here in August 2014 for the first time on a family vacation. Let me begin with this caveat: this is a rustic family camp. If you are expecting luxury bathrooms and high-end rooms, this is not the place for you. Go to a high end resort in the Caribbean instead. Additionally, if you want a vacation with just... More

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. As a first timer here, I was a little apprehensive. You're committing to a full week and it's not inexpensive. Like all the other first timers, I'm a convert. This place really creates an environment that allows both adults and children to have a real vacation.... More
