I attended a conference in Bradford, VT and this was the conference hotel. I was NOT disappointed with my room. It was in the older historic section of the hotel (1905) and the room was very large. There was a king size bed in one part of the room along with a small loveseat. Another loveseat looked out over the... More

Thank you for taking the time to discuss your stay. I would say, once again, Rm 230 was your room during your stay. It seems most trip advisor reviews have a central focus of this room as their lodging. With 130 rooms at the Resort, I am beginning to wonder if the front desk is offering free cow patties to... We were looking for a place we good jump on the snowmobiles and get on the trails and go. Lake Morey Resort offered that and more. I list the positive and then get to the negatives. The trails connect right from the property, they have multiple ice rinks for skating or hockey right on the lake, an ice skating trail... More

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us during winter carnival. My wife organized the disco night and even bought me a disco outfit for the evening. I conveniently got sick and was unable to attend. In this age of social media, my co-workers would have plastered me all over the associated sites. I remember the days when you... More

My family and my sister-in-laws family went to the resort over the Marting Luther King weekend because we wanted to skate outdoors. It was a great place to stay and the skating was fantastic. Even during a light snow storm the grooming continued. We skated with ease around beautiful Lake Morey. It's a real gem. The resort had a lot... More

Tim, I'm pleased your family enjoyed their stay here at Lake Mroey. Fortunately the weather cooperated as it has been a tad fickle these past few weeks. However with the subzero temperatures over the last couple days the ice is perfect. Those pesky clipper snow squals do not mean much accumulation, but in terms of the ice trail it requires... More

Located right on the lake on a pristine winter day, I thought I was in for quite an enjoyable stay! I stayed for two days and one night at the resort. The evening meal was advertised as "costing extra," but I wasn't expecting a severely overpriced chicken dinner at $32. As I was reading in my room in the evening,... More

William, I do apologize for the levels of noise you experienced during your stay. Though we do not have the luxury of a hotel built recently which is able to soundproof all its walls, noise at 2.30 am is not acceptable and should not occur. We had a company party at the Resort last Friday evening and I would assume... More

We spend New Year's Eve at the Lake Morey Resort and I was so pleasantly pleased. It surpassed all my expectations and then some It has classic charm of historic hotel, slows down the pace of life, it is laid back, yet elegant, with a friendly environment and makes the stresses of reality disappear. The view is breathtaking. You can... More

Carrie, Thank you for the lovely compliments. I am pleased your children enjoyed the New Years children's program. It was very cold outside but all the kids seemed to be having a great time- even on the horse drawn wagon rides. Please note we do have refridgerators available free of charge that can be placed in guest rooms. Please enjoy... More

We went to Lake Morey in Feb 2013 and really enjoyed our stay. My main goal was to enjoy some pond hockey with the kids. When we arrived it was ridiculously cold. We had to wait a while for our room to be ready but we arrived early so we expected this. The lobby area is busy with people. It's... More

We are hoping for some ridiculously cold weather so we can get a nice early season sheet of ice. Typically the lake does not freeze over until New Years, but with the cold Thanksgiving some ice began to appear along the shorelines. Once again we have lots to do this winter with pond hockey, and nordic skating becoming very popular.... More

My wife and I took advantage of a Travelzoo deal for mid-October and were so glad we did. The location, the food and the amenities were all first-rate. Thank you for you input. Having a couple handicapped parking spaces closer to these rooms is a great idea and will be implemented. I understand your concerns regarding the location of our handicapped rooms and will investigate possible modifications to our present methodology. My boyfriend and I visited this resort and it was a really great experience. I left my 2 favorite pillows (I always travel with my own) and realized an hour away ( we drove from NJ). I actually took your call regarding your forgotten pillows. I sent my son on this task, and much to my surprise he chose the correct pillows. Pillows are typically the #2 left item, only behind cell phones. I am pleased you enjoyed our neck of the woods and hope to see you again, Until then, Mark Avery More

We visited here in late September as a group of fraternity brothers now mellowing in their 60’s. Our room was about middle of the road price wise, and we had a view of the lake albeit over a rooftop with spinning chimneys. The room was comfortable and very clean. However, on the weekends they can have bands that play pretty... More

So great you had a memorable reunion with your Fraternity brothers. The music from the lounge on weekends can be heard in some of the guest rooms, but we make much effort to make sure the guests above the lounge are aware. Typically the rooms are occupied by guests who are partaking in the lounge activities. Glad you enjoyed your... More

We recently spent an idyllic Vermont-in-autumn weekend at the Lake Morey Resort. What a delightful place to visit! To begin, I am pleased to read of your enjoyable stay. So many times I travel and learn of ridiculous fees to which I find petty. I have never desired to emulate these actions as you simply need to devise a rate structure that is fair to all. You have violated company code 5-4c- rooting for the Red Sox on... More
