I had never heard of this place before I googled "lakeside resort New England". I'm so glad we found it! We had a wonderful 5 day stay over the holiday weekend. While the weather was not perfect, the rain only interfered in our plans the first afternoon we arrived so we played ping pong and shot pool. We were able... More

Oh, but wait until next years fireworks- I have a surprise up my sleeve! Did you happen to partake in the July 4th parade? If not, I'm sure you heard our float as it toured the hotel grounds. Other than the strongest thunderstorm cell I have ever witnessed that passed overhead on the 3rd, the weather was pretty cooperative. Glad... More

My family just spent two nights at the Morey Lake Resort. We were so impressed with the owners' hospitality. The hotel, while older, had very nice accommodations. We loved the peaceful atmosphere and we felt like we were stepping back in time. The scenery and grounds were beautiful! We truly enjoyed using the kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, and bikes, all... I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay here at Lake Morey. My son asks me everyday if he can go to the whippy dip (or as i call it, the whippity dippity) It has been a Fairlee institution for over 50 years. Hope to see you again, Mark More

Our company stayed at the Lake Morey Resort for our annual meeting. The lake is picturesque, but more like a large pond in size. The rooms were spacious, but they had very dated furnishings and décor. There was no refrigerator in our room; and our closet was located inside the bathroom, which wasn't always convenient. We had dinner outside on... More

It is not often when I can utilize my Geography degree- Did you know the Caspian Sea is the largest lake in the world, with 130 rivers flowing into this huge body of water. Generally the difference between a pond and a lake is total acreage- below 20 acres a pond and above a lake. Lake Morey is over 400... More

I've been going to The Lake Morey Inn for over 30 years each summer. I took over from my late uncle Fred Cheevers running a golf outing of 60+ guys for a long weekend every late June. It is a great place for these type of golf outings. Bill, Justin, John and the gang at the course are great people.... More

Thanks for the kind words. Your group has been coming to Lake Morey for so long that my Grandparents were operating the Resort during the inaugural visit. Your support to the Lake Morey community these past 30 years is tremendous and very much appreciated. We hope you have a wonderful time this upcoming weekend. Until then, Mark A. More

This is my second stay at this very nice resort. This time I came for the annual meeting of the Vermont Conference of the United Church of Christ. I thought it was interesting and ironic that I had the exact same room as my last stay--the room with the sloping floor and resultant gape at the top of the door!... More

All I hear all day long at school is Rm. 230 this, Rm. 230 that, Rm 230, Rm 230, Rm 230. Your conference was a tad early in the season for the outdoor amenities as winter had a late check-out this year. Anyway glad you had a nice stay and that we served the needs for your conference. I do... More

I attended a conference in Bradford, VT and this was the conference hotel. I was NOT disappointed with my room. It was in the older historic section of the hotel (1905) and the room was very large. There was a king size bed in one part of the room along with a small loveseat. Another loveseat looked out over the... More

Thank you for taking the time to discuss your stay. I would say, once again, Rm 230 was your room during your stay. It seems most trip advisor reviews have a central focus of this room as their lodging. With 130 rooms at the Resort, I am beginning to wonder if the front desk is offering free cow patties to... We were looking for a place we good jump on the snowmobiles and get on the trails and go. Lake Morey Resort offered that and more. I list the positive and then get to the negatives. The trails connect right from the property, they have multiple ice rinks for skating or hockey right on the lake, an ice skating trail... More

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us during winter carnival. My wife organized the disco night and even bought me a disco outfit for the evening. I conveniently got sick and was unable to attend. In this age of social media, my co-workers would have plastered me all over the associated sites. I remember the days when you... More

My family and my sister-in-laws family went to the resort over the Marting Luther King weekend because we wanted to skate outdoors. It was a great place to stay and the skating was fantastic. Even during a light snow storm the grooming continued. We skated with ease around beautiful Lake Morey. It's a real gem. The resort had a lot... More

Tim, I'm pleased your family enjoyed their stay here at Lake Mroey. Fortunately the weather cooperated as it has been a tad fickle these past few weeks. However with the subzero temperatures over the last couple days the ice is perfect. Those pesky clipper snow squals do not mean much accumulation, but in terms of the ice trail it requires... More

Located right on the lake on a pristine winter day, I thought I was in for quite an enjoyable stay! I stayed for two days and one night at the resort. The evening meal was advertised as "costing extra," but I wasn't expecting a severely overpriced chicken dinner at $32. As I was reading in my room in the evening,... More

William, I do apologize for the levels of noise you experienced during your stay. Though we do not have the luxury of a hotel built recently which is able to soundproof all its walls, noise at 2.30 am is not acceptable and should not occur. We had a company party at the Resort last Friday evening and I would assume... More
