The inn was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Three of us shared a room after a Discovery Bike tour. The Yellow Room was advertised to be suitable for 3 people and we knew 2 of us would have to share the queen bed. We were not prepared for the foam mattress on the floor, not even made up.... More

We stayed in the foliage room, was confortable, clean and cozy (king bed) as other B&B They don't offer you cheese and wine, only coffee in the afternoon. The owners wasn't there, only two fantastic ladies with really good customer service and manners. We are pet lovers, so the dog and cats wasn't a problem for us. Good breakfast, but... More

My first impression of this bed and breakfast was this place is very Vermont. I loved it. It is located in the farm. My room view was the barn. We arrived late in the evening. Our room was at the second floor. The room was spacious with a bathroom in it. The bed and mattress was very cozy. I had... More

My boyfriend and I just returned from a two night stay at the inn during a ski trip to smugglers notch. I was a bit hesitant at first to stay in a smaller four bedroom inn but was pleasantly surprised! It felt much more private than expected! Upon arrival (around 5:30 p.m.) the inn keepers were heading out to dinner... More

The location is perfect for those looking to get away while not being too far from shopping or good dining. They have a wonderful view of the property from the sun room and even in the winter it was comfortable. It was a wonderful time for the honeymoon my wife and I were looking for. The owners were very pleasant... More

We stopped for a couple of nights and wished we could of been there longer. Its great to find a laid back, comfortable and welcoming place. The first welcome was from the 2 spaniels which added to the homely welcome received. Fantastically comfortable room, fabulous grounds to walk through, small pool and spa bath. A great getaway. Breakfast was superb... More

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful B&B. We love traveling along routes we can frequent them. Upon arrival, Jacque checked us in and gave us the nickel (really) tour. Never told us who she was and instructed us to walk outside (in 20 degree weather) to the house front door and ring the bell if we needed anything.... More

Unfortunately, not all guests respond positively to the same approach, and it is not always easy to find an alternative path. Our goal is to be available yet not hover, letting guests more or less set the tone. So, had they wanted to engage in more conversation (and Jacquie and I both did have conversations with them) they needed only... More

This was our second trip to Buck Hollow, as we celebrated our honeymoon and 10 year anniversary here. Brad and Jacquie are excellent hosts who treat you like family. Delicious breakfasts, warm conversations, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Being a smaller B&B, it is easier to get to know the other guests and enjoy company when you want it. We... More

We needed a place to stay in the area to break up our trip between Montreal and southern Vermont. Rather than pay a similar rate to stay in a chain, we chose to stay at the Inn at Buck Hollow Farm. It is a 15 min drive out in the country, but the drive was beautiful, the setting is lovely... More

We like to stay in B&B's, but this one lacked the expected hospitality. The Innkeepers were not there when we arrived so everyone had a envelope tacked to the front door. The information in the room said breakfast was usually served between 8:00 and 9:00, but they could usually accommodate earlier times if requested the night before. We had hoped... More

No one is more disappointed than us when a guest is not satisfied. We seek 100% satisfaction and take it personally when that doesn’t happen. Thankfully, most guests understand that no innkeeper, especially one with a small property (we have 4 rooms) can be expected to be on site 24/7. Leaving notes with all necessary information is more than common... More
