We were greeted by the owner Brad and his friendly dogs, Elmo and Grover, and had arrived well before the check in time. However, Brad made us feel at home and accommodated us, checking us in, showing us our quaint and very clean room, the suite. The inn is on a side road on a 300 acre farm, with trails... More

The only thing 'wrong' was that we only had one night to spend at this perfect little haven. We stayed in the Yellow Room, an intimate space that was ideal for us. The room and Inn is very clean and the ambiance couldn't have been more perfect. Waking to fresh coffee, a warm fire, jazz/soul music and the amazing view... More

I first heard about this beautiful B&B in a newspaper article last winter and kept it in mind for our last-minute get-away. Located off the beaten path, the owners Brad and Jacquie are just lovely, as are their menagerie of pets. They took care of every detail - from the jazz playing in the breakfast room each morning, to their... More

As I was planning our "bucket list" trip to northern Vermont to see the fall foliage colors, I was fortunate to stumble on this wonderful B&B. It is situated in a serine and beautiful setting. Our room was very comfortable, and well kept with daily attention. The breakfast each day was the best. If we ever have an opportunity to... More

My wife and I spent a rainy, cool fall weekend here, but the Inn's ambience and comfort made up for the weather in every way. Situated on a back road in farm country, the dog-friendly inn offers extensive views of rolling fields and hilly wooded countryside. The inn manager, Cherie, was very welcoming and made us feel right at home.... More

This inn is located in a quiet farm area of Fairfax; a short drive to Saint Albans, VT. There are no restaurants in Fairfax, but several good restaurants are within a 15 to 20 minute drive to St. Albans. Our room was very clean with towels replaced when requested and the room vacuumed daily. Cherie, the host, prepared excellent breakfasts... More

One note. We are most careful to keep the pets isolated from the dining room during meal time. At the end of breakfast we may sometimes ask if anyone objects to the dogs joining them. If something different happened during this stay, it was neither planned nor intentional. Thanks for pointing it out. More

If you need a quiet, picturesque, country, comfortable, cozy place, where you can feel at home, this is the place to be! A wonderfully kept Inn by wonderful Innkeepers! The rooms are clean and inviting, and the sun room offers finishing touches to the at-home experience! Jacquie's breakfasts are delicious and I can't wait to try some of the recipe's... More

We have just returned from our 4th visit to this AWESOME Inn! The Innkeepers Brad & Jacquie, along with their manager, Cherie, are super. They are welcoming, helpful & friendly, but never intrusive! Their 4 guest rooms are immaculate & so well decorated! Each room also comes with its' own HUGE stuffed moose holding a few of the Inn's favorite... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Buckhollow in the winter and it was a fantastic experience. The location is a bit off the beaten path but we had no trouble finding it and this only adds to the tranquility of the experience. Its a comfortable and cosy building with the warmth of the lodgings only surpassed by the warmth of... More

Three friends and I booked two rooms at this B and B as we were in Fairfax visiting family and friends for the weekend. My friend booked the rooms through a site called airbnb as she is a member. She booked one room for one adult and the suite room for three adults. We arrived around 7pm and found notes... More

Unfortunately, people hear what they want to here. There had never been an issue with her friend about the rate. When she reserved through Air B and B, she reserved the suite which was not the same rate as the other three rooms. She was aware of it and I wrote her on July 30 indicating she could pay the...
