Highly recommend making this B & B part of your trip through Vermont. We stayed in the downstairs suite, which was quiet roomy. Breakfast was a little inconvenient as it was next door in another building and a massive thunderstorm arrived about dawn but we made it and it was worth the trouble. Gracious and friendly hosts as well.

I stayed at the Inn in the summer of 2014. We had great service, location was awesome and breakfast very good. Access to spa, pool and bike shed. I recommend the Village Inn any time, just contact Joan!

The Inn Keeper, Joan, was extremely pleasant and helpful. However., as soon as I entered the room, I knew I was in trouble. It was dark, stuffy and gloomy, yet it was a glorious day outside. I couldn't open a window (which were pitted and dirty), but discovered a small window AC which I immediately turned on. The shades were... More

To Kris F, Thank you for your positive criticism of our small country B&B. We only hope to provide clean, comfortable, affordable options for our guest. If you had only made us (Joan or I) aware of your discomfort with the room and difficulties in learning how to operate a shower or how to open one of the other two... More

This was our first stay at the Village Inn, though not our first trip to East Burke. Joan is the ultimate innkeeper: everything needed for an easy, comfortable stay is provided, with minimal fuss or fussiness. We stayed in Room 2, which was perfectly adequate for 2 adults and a kid. The bed was incredibly comfortable! There is a full... More

This was our 4th stay at The Village Inn. As always, it was clean, comfortable and affordable. The inn keeper Joan is the best. She goes above and beyond to keep her guest happy. I would recommend this inn to anybody!

This place is a real winner. We reserved the apartment with our 3 year old and our dog (no extra charge, but not all rooms take dogs). Apartment is an understatement, it really is a small house with 3 bedrooms and beds for 10, though admittedly it would be tight if all beds were occupied. Furnishings are simple but in... More

My boyfriend and I have stayed in a lot of places no place could measure up! WE loved our room, loved the location, loved the owner! Anything we needed or wanted! Breakfast was awesome! Bike storage, place to relax, we even had a fire down by the water after dinner, it was so relaxing! We can't say enough about this... More

This was our first time staying at The Village Inn ... It won't be our last. Everything was perfect. We loved our room which was spacious and very comfortable. We spent time enjoying the jacuzzi and exploring the grounds complete with charming landscaping and a small vineyard! Breakfast, which is included, was top-notch. As an older couple visiting family in... More

We had a great large open room for a late fall bike trip. Having stayed in several locations we wanted a room large enough for our whole party, I think the room would have comfortably slept 8 people (including a pull out). We brought our well behaved dog as well. Location is perfect you, can leave the car parked and... More

Just stayed here mid week for a couple of nights. Picked this place for its proximity to the trails, couldn't get much closer. The Inn is clean and comfortable, breakfast in the restaurant next door was delicious and a perfect start to a long day of awesome trail riding. The bike wash/storage and hot tub are the icing on the... More
