We spent three days with Mo and Joe at their B&B. Wow what an experience. It was by far the cleanest and nicest B&B we've stayed in over the last few years if not the best. We stayed in the Zen room which was truly amazing day and night as you could lay and watch the stars till you fell... More

Beautiful home in a lovely, quiet, immaculate, lakeside setting. Owners are so friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast was fabulous this morning we decided to book dinner with them tonight and couldn't be happier! Rack of Lamb and crab stuffed chicken breast both seasoned amazingly and cooked perfectly. Jo and his wife Maureen 'Mo' are beyond professionals, they are the perfect... More

We just spent two nights in this immaculate inn and couldn't have asked for a nicer experience. It's extremely clean, artfully decorated, and our room (The Library Room) was completely comfortable: soft sheets, comfortable reading chairs and lights, windows opening on three sides of the house, and even night lights--a small but important safety detail that most hotels and B&B's... We had one night in the Library Room which is large, attractive and comfortable. The room is just off the kitchen/entrance area and even very quiet sounds travel very clearly, from our hosts almost whispered talk in kitchen and from our ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was a small serve of pineapple with a few raspberries, scrambled egg on half a croissant... More

We only had one night but it was well worth it. We stayed in the Wyoming room with a great view of the lawn and lake. Joe was very nice to meet and he gave us the tour of the property and room. The room was very private away from the main house. The only thing we would have liked... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in fall of 2013 after reading many of these reviews. I hesitated to write this review bec I see how Mo responds defensively to even gently couched negatives in reviews, but here it is. This was the oddest & most uncomfortable B&B experience we've ever had, and we've had many. Much like a few... More

My husband and I had planned on spending 4 days at the Inn in August. We had selected the Wyoming room because it had a view of the lake. We weren't told that it was close to Route 5 and we found the traffic noisy all night long. We also found the lake shallow, muddy and full of weeds. We... More

My wife & I had a great stay at Lake Salem Inn. It was a great experience from booking to departure. Mo & Joe were gracious hosts. Their home & property on Lake Salem was as beautiful as it was relaxing. We kayaked for miles down the lake, connecting ponds and the Clyde River. Each evening we sipped cocktails on... More

We visited Lake Salem Inn so we could spend the weekend with very good friends who live in the area. The Inn is beautiful and we felt very much at home. Mo and Joe are very geniune people, easy to talk to and down to earth. No pretense here. We had a lovely dinner at the Inn cooked by Mo... More

We just returned home from a week at Lake Salem Inn. We would definitely return - the accommodations were lovely & comfortable, the breakfasts were wholesome & delicious, and Joe and Mo were gracious and accomodating. We wanted to explore the Eastern Townships of Quebec and found this to be the perfect springboard for that. We also spent a day... More
