We were tired from an eventful weekend and this was our last stop before home. There is a tavern on the premises, so we were able to have drinks and dinner without having to travel anywhere else. We were able to relax and get a good night's sleep. The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast of French toast... More

The Stone Hearth Inn was just what we were looking for! The owners were very nice and accommodating and the room was comfy! In the mornings we were seated in a lovely area overlooking a beautiful field-like back yard. The coffee was good and each morning, in addition to fresh fruit and the choice of cereals, we were given a... More

We stayed here for the weekend to go to a wedding. At first, I was a little disappointed with our room because although the bathroom was recently renovated and very clean, there was not a lot of room to put things. There was no closet to hang clothes, only 4 hooks outside the bathroom. No desk, table, or dresser to... More

The inn room we had was comfortable, clean and basic. This is NOT your charming, decorated-to-the-nines B&B. They were very good about accommodating us when I had a change in plans and there were three of us instead of one. But it did mean we got one of the third floor rooms, which are up a steep staircase, and a... More

I fell in love with the charm and feel of the place instantly. My room was so comfy I slept like a baby. And that shower... I considered trying to fit that in my suitcase and take it home with me. Sheldon, Francy, and Clark were super not to mention their adorable puppies.

Whatever you do, don't walk in the door closest to the parking lot. You will be rudely greeted and asked to walk to the furthest door. It took half an hour for anyone to take our drink order at the BAR. (place wasn't too busy) After we waited 1 1/2 hours we were finally seated. Appetizers took 45 minutes and... More

This a a beautiful historic Inn The owners were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The Tavern is very nice and the food was excellent. I would stay here again in a minute. I slept so well usually I can't sleep anywhere but my own bed. Very peaceful. There is no television except for the family room downstairs.... More

Really a lovely family, great food, warm and cozy rooms - a really haven after we fled the nearby CHESTER HOUSE INN after the owner, Robert, screamed anti-semitic epithets at my girlfriend and I! Sprawling green lawn, friendly locals, dog-friendly, the Stone Heart Inn and Tavern is really great.

While looking for a place to stay during a big event many hotels were taken but I felt I had stumbled upon some very good luck when I found Stone Hearth Inn. The public spaces are very rustic but beautiful, it really looks like you are stepping into someones home (Which really, you are!). I live in a Victorian House... More

The food is good but overpriced, the service not so great, and the rooms are dirty beyond repair. In one of the rooms there's insulation hanging out of the wall, the cracks in the floor eat anything you could try to sweep up, it must be so frustrating and impossible for the maids, I think they get it as clean...
