My family of four stayed 2 nights in the Family Room while we were visiting Burlington for the Vermont City Marathon. Duker and his family were the quintessential B&B hosts, welcoming and informative, but completely respectful of our privacy. The room was spacious and comfortable, replete with a large kitchen (oven, microwave and fridge/freezer). The decor was eclectic, maybe even... More

We planned to spend a few days in VT. for a birthday celebration & after searching for a B & B online happened on The Inn At Charlotte. It was just what we had hoped for! The Inn has a comfortable, homey atmosphere and is in a beautiful country setting. Our room was spacious & comfortable. Josephina greeted us with... More

We stayed at the Inn on an overnight when visiting a sick friend. It was comfortable, convenient, and friendly. Duker was a great host. The common room is large, filled with thought provoking paintings and a kitchenette. A comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and a sunny Sunday moring hike up Mt Philo (which is practically in the backyard!) made our short... More

I have stayed here both in the summer and the winter and plan on returning! It is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located with STUNNING views. Hosts are incredibly welcoming. Don't miss the art!!

My family recently had a wonderful stay at the Inn on a glorious fall September weekend. Our host was accommodating to our needs and makes an excellent breakfast. Our four generational family members thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the farm style table over a leisurely breakfast and cups of coffee afterwards. The location was perfect for our family wedding and for... More

I'm trying to offer an opinion from a practical as well as comparative perspective having stayed at a number of different types of accommodation on this trip. On the plus side the room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable so a good nights sleep should be possible. There was a nice garden swing on our veranda and... More

Derek, thank you for posting a review. We regret that you were not thoroughly satisfied with the accommodations. We are pleased that you found the bed comfortable and the room spacious. I know Corinna is very particular about dusting and cleanliness in general. She described a thorough cleaning and dusting of the room: baseboards, mirrors, corners, edges, pictures, lamps, TV,... Second visit to this B&B. Went to Vermont and NY for a short three day trip with two kids. We had the family room. This is a great place. It is a modest size B&B located in the countryside. The owner is very friendly and the site is (from my point of view) extremely nice and relaxing. Breakfast was perfect,... More

Thank you Jean-Guy for your nice words! It's always wonderful to share Vermont with our neighbors north of the border (and to practice my French). A la prochaine! More

The location of the inn was beautiful. It's located down the road from Mt. Philo and across from a grape farm. The scenery is gorgeous. The innkeeper, Duger, is an interesting guy who enjoys talking to and taking care of his guests. One criticism I have of the inn was the water. It smelled like sulfur and made me feel... More

Thank you for your feedback. Allow me to get right to the issue of the water. Our water is now odor-less and very pure. The inn has just invested in a top of the line water purification system. While sulfur is harmless, the smell was clearly unacceptable to many guests. The Inn is subject to surprise health inspections, and we... More

The Inn at Charlotte was perfect for our 5-day visit to Vermont. It is located only minutes away from Mt. Philo, and its breathtaking views of Lake Champlain. It is an easy day trip to Stowe, which we visited when the fall foliage was at its peak. Duker, the innkeeper, is friendly, interesting and a treasure trove of information and... More
