This isn't my first time at the castle. I have been there for a wedding a few years ago and on another occasion for a weekend getaway with the girls. This time I actually stayed in the actual Castle. The history and decor is beautiful. The restaurant is amazing!! I could have their beef Wellington every night for dinner. The... More

My husband surprised me with a Mini-moon after our wedding - we truly enjoyed our time! I love architecture and history, so this spot was fantastic. Our room was on the third floor at the end of the hallway, a bit of a hike without an elevator, I'm glad it was only a three day trip and we didn't have... More

I stayed at "The Pointe at Castle Hill" last year with some friends during the ski season. And me and my boyfriend agreed that for next year we would stayed at "The Castle" such a great place where we had a wonderful dinner. We could not wait to get there and stay in one of the rooms in the castle... More

This place was better than I dreamed! Going here in March I expected the castle to be cold and damp. Not at all! Our room was luxurious and the pool and jacuzzi were wonderful! We splurged and had a first class dinner at the castle as well. Great food and service! It also is an historic landmark. Highly recommend this... More

We booked a last minute stay in early March here....a bit pricey, but appeared to be par the course for the area in peak ski season. We got an great condo (M1A) with living area, california king, 2 bathrooms, fireplace, jacuzzi, kitchen--$440/pm (again, last minute and peak season) that overall was perfect. The decor was....well, NewEngland (not modern), but less... More

We got a great deal from Travelzoo and stayed for one night. We wished we could have spent more nights at this lovely inn. Our room was on the third floor (no elevator), spacious and very nicely decorated. We really loved the architecture of the inn. It was like being in a mini Downton Abby house, beautifully decorated with authentic... More

This is a very special place to stay. The Castle was built in 1905 by a former governor of Vermont. There is incredible ornamental woodwork along the outside eaves of the building. Inside every room in the main level is period, with outstanding ornamental plaster or wood latticed ceilings. The building is almost exactly as it was in 1905, with... More

Because of their welcoming staff we had the most incredible wedding experience at the Castle. I remember it like it was yesterday and there is still not a single thing I would do differently. Lisa is a joy to work with. She sincerely cares about not only her "bride" but made every guest of ours feel totally welcome. The chef... More

Months ago I booked my elopement ceremony at the Castle because it was beautiful but also because of the connection with Lisa and thank god I did! On arrival everything was beautiful and the suite was huge. Then my personal disaster started. The night before my wedding my photographer called and had to cancel due to an emergency. Then the...
