My wife and I recently spent a weekend at this resort. The Castle was built in the early 1900's has a limited number of rooms (#10). It is a majestic stone building overlooking the Black River. The rooms are large and comfortable with clean bathrooms. However, there is not an elevator and the climb to the 3rd floor is quite... More

We decided to try it when we saw a deal on living social....the Inn itself was very nice, upscale. We did have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our room but not a huge deal. There was a very formal dinning room with an expensive menu, we were a little hesitant to eat there but since... More

We stayed in the Castle in room number 12. Upon arrival, you need to first check-in at the Point Hotel at the bottom of the hill. The people at the desk were pleasant and indicated that someone at the Castle would be available to assist with our bags. At the Castle, we were shown to our third floor room (no... More

This place was in a wonderful peaceful, relaxing setting. The spa was excellent, exactly what I need and we are already planning our next trip back to this resort. Staff was so nice and helpful, they really made us feel welcomed.

We spent two nights during the week using TravelZoo coupons. From our check-in to our check-out we experienced nothing but the finest care from the employees. Staying in the historic mansion of a former governor was very special with a feeling of emulating Downton Abbey(the mansion was built in 1902). The restaurant in the mansion provides a wonderful ambiance which... More

We stayed at the condos at Castle Hill Resort while skiing Okemo. The condo was beautiful, well-appointed and convenient. There were enough beds for 9 of us to be comfortable. The kitchen was set up for real cooking, not just pop tarts and cereal. The ride tithe mountain was only about 10 minutes. Two families were right at home there.

My wife and I travel a bit but usually look for deals through various internet sites. Back in October I saw an amazing deal for the Castle Inn Resort & Spa not far from a ski area and bought it for my wife's birthday. I tend to research such deals on Tripadvisor to get a feel for what's good and... More

Okay. Great experience with a few caveats. Condo was super. Had the one bedroom which was very spacious. Loved the gas fireplace. Everyone, well almost, was very friendly! A few minor issues: 1) Book by phone instead of the website if you want to ski. Wanted to book the ski package but couldn't figure out how to do so via... More

Stayed here two nights in a castle room, number 8. Lovely room with giant sized(super king" bed which was very comfortable, best nights sleep ever! Bathroom very large with jacuzzi bath, but NO separate shower, which was a small hindrance when you just wanted to freshen up, also not very environmentally friendly with regards to waiting water...the room had loads... We stayed here for two nights while snowboarding at Okemo Mountain. The resort is a 10 minute drive to the mountain. I would say the hotel was average, nothing impressed us and nothing upset us. We had an appointment at the spa. It was a mediocre massage, the front desk employee at the spa was miserable and took away from... More
