What a great place. We stayed in the suite. It was more than enough room for a family of 4. The itches was plenty big and we did not have to worry about going out all the time. Okemo is 5 min away and you can't beat it for the price.

My sister and I recently stayed at The Pointe Hotel at the Castle Hill Resort. The staff were very helpful. They offered to turn on the lobby fireplace for us if we wanted to just lounge and chat after traveling! We decided to bring in take out for dinner and they were more than alright with us having our dinner... More

We stayed here simply to facilitate our leaf-peeping excursion on the Green Mountain RR, but holy COW did we get lucky!! Not only was the pet-friendly room clean and well-appointed, but the food knocked our socks off. This place is in two parts: The Point is a newer hotel in the front (only pet-friendly rooms, so we stayed there) and... More

We traveled as 2 couples and we were all very pleased as we arrived to the hotel. I didn't expect a place like this in the area. The suite was unbelievable having everything you would need if you stayed for even a week or two.

The Pointe is a hotel that screams "skier's joint" to me. It is down the hill from Castle Hill, where it is beautiful enough to make one want to get married there. Very different places. I would just say that as long as one didn't over pay, The Pointe would be a great skier's lodge. It needs better heat in... More

My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom condo at the Pointe Resort next to the castle. You drive up an winding road to the top where the condos are located. The setting is gorgeous. The beautiful fall colors are surrounding the condo. The condo itself was very cozy and it seemed like they just updated it. It is... More

Went with a friend for an overnight getaway. Got a good rate through a groupon. Room was average but clean. Had a slight musty smell which we brought to the attention of the desk on checkout. My friend had made the mistake of thinking we were going to be staying in the "castle". We did not take advantage of any... More

Stopped here for a night on our way further north. We had a one bedroom suite, it was large enough to be a condo. Full kitchen, dining table, living room with couch, love seat and chair, large bedroom with king bed, large bathroom with washer and dryer in room. Nice pool area with hot tub inside. Only knock, they charge... More

This is a quality roadside hotel but do not confuse it with any type of castle, resort, or spa. Nothing wrong with it at all. It is simply a well-appointed multi-floor hotel. No character, ambiance or scenery. In fact, it seems to have been a Clarion Hotel and some point and acquired by Castle Hill Resort. (The Clarion info is... More

Spent the last couple of days here it was a very pleasant experience. The room is very large, clean and staff are very friendly. It is perfect for a quiet, relaxing, leaf peeping trip. Some decent restaurants/pubs in surrounding towns...some cute shops, antiques, etc...quintessential Vermont in okemo mountain area. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel as it was a... More
