We were looking for a relaxing place to stay for a short vacation and found a great deal for the Pointe hotel online. The rooms were huge (we had a couch and a big reading chair as well as a small table and chairs), extremely clean, comfortable, cozy, and welcoming without that "hotel" feel. The surrounding area is lovely, too... More

We enjoyed our stay here. When I called to ask for a one night stay, they insisted that I book two nights. I found a cheaper rate for one night online. When I checked in, the front desk was wonderful. They suggested a great place for breakfast, and even called to check the hours for us as we needed a... More

The Castle was selected by our friends as a wedding location. The adjacent hotel was a nice choice, clean with uncomfortable beds, a gym and a small pool, basic. The desk staff wanted to charge us twice, but after a brief check, gave us the ok to go…no apologies. The Castle was a pleasant surprise, very elegant, wooden walls and... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly, the room clean, and the hotel's accommodations were really great for the price we paid. The environment is very relaxing and the proximity to Ludlow and Proctorsville is an added bonus. Check out the spa if you have some time. The gym is clean and the sauna is well-maintained.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. I booked using a groupon deal. If I paid full price I would have been very disappointed. The deal came with a voucher for dinner in the castle which was very expensive but very very good. It is a very elegant and intimate place to eat... The pointe is very close... More

Check-in was painless, desk staff made it a point to tell us about the Castle and dining options. We had an even numbered room that faced the road, with a fair amount of road noise as a result. Sonic insulation was not great - when people were coming and going during the day we heard everything, though people were quiet... More

We lost our camera while we where there this weekend. They found it and are sending it back to us. There is nothing more important than feeling like your belongings are safe when you stay away from home. Also, the rooms were kept very clean.

Slightly better than average hotel. Our room was fine, though not a bargain given the nightly rate. The hot tub was a big disappointment. Small (8 person capacity), given the size of the hotel, it can get crowded, especially with noisy kids. And on two nights out of four the water was lukewarm due to malfunctioning controls and inadequate maintenance.... More

Our trip over President's day weekend started off rough: 1. No heat 2. No water 3. Once water was turned on there was a leak 4. found a pair of someone's dirty underwear under the chair in the room! Overall, the resort relies on the images of the beautiful castle up the hill to sell their overpriced motel rooms down... More
