Whether for business or pleasure, this is a great place to stay if you enjoy idyllic surroundings, very personable owners, and neat, clean facilities with rustic north woods charm. I found the owners, Mark and Gloria, to be very engaging and helpful in providing the lay of the land and local contacts so as to complete my work in the... More

We were a group of 14, spanning 3 generations. The weather the week of August 8 was not perfect but everyone was always happy. The lodge and the area offer so much... hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, exploring Quebecois culture, indoor games, Gloria, Mark, and the staff are perfect hosts. The breakfast is scrumptious and local. We were lucky to be... More

Columbus Day Weekend at Jackson's offered terrific foliage, cliffs with diving peregrine falcons, gorgeous hikes *and* a gourmet side trip to Canada, which is very nearby. The owners provided itineraries for various bike, walking, and car tours, and their recommendations were right on target for our needs. We especially enjoyed the cheese, chocolate, and ice cream just across the border.... More

For my work, I do a fair amount of overseas travel, & stay @ nice, but mostly generic hotels. Regardless of the city/country I am in, the hotels are pretty much the same. My stay at Jackson's Lodge was a wonderful, but completely different experience. Jackson Lodge is what lodging was meant to be, & thus my travel was more... More

Not fancy.the lake was beautiful. Stay include use of kayaks and paddle boats. If you are a techy person NO Cell service at all. Wifi at the lodge only. Situated in... More

The hospitality from Gloria and Mark, along with the staff at Jackson's Lodge is unmatched. Equal in quality are the clean and well-equipped cabins, and the cozy wayfarer rooms. (We've stayed in both in the past). Our trip this year found us waking up to amazing misty mornings on the beautiful international Wallace Pond, and finishing our days with glowing... More

What a find! A perfect spot if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing atmosphere on the beach at Lake Wallis with amazing hosts (Gloria and Mark). Great weekend country breakfast at the Lodge Café. Wayfarer rooms are so sweet and provided with everything you need. Spectacular views and sunsets are enjoyed from the deck.

My husband and I wanted to go somewhere we'd never been and decided on the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We searched several sites on line including TripAdvisor and Jackson's Lodge kept coming up and it had great reviews so we booked it! We are so glad we did! The owners; Mark and Gloria are so welcoming and friendly. Lou, who... More

We stayed in one of the small motel type rooms, Fawn. The view is wonderful. It is nice to have coffee on the porch in the morning. There are plenty of extras included in the rate like use of kyacks and boats and free wifi. We loved every minute there and hope to go back again soon.
