This is not your typical hotel but we had an enjoyable experience spending quite a lot of time talking to the manager and finding out about the history of the Tibetans and about the hotel. Rooms were more than adequate but not your conventional standard. Decor and furniture is basic and a bit dated. Price is unbeatable. We spent a... More

Choice of accommodation is dependent on so many variables. The G.G.T.Tibet Inn is unlikely to be chosen for many other reasons than convenience and economy. We stayed at the G.G.T. simply because it offered a stopover before an very early morning flight and it was a short and simple drive to Burlington Airport. There are few hints of connection with... As long as you steer clear of the staff during your stay, you will get what you pay for: a stay at a budget and somewhat outdated (even shabby) motel. It has one of the lowest prices in the Burlington area, and there is a reason for that - it is a very low end establishment. You will have a... More

We realize that the owners are trying to have an interesting "Tibetan inn". This one could use a little work. Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge and Microwave did not turn on til we asked the manager - power was on a power bar at the back "to keep the wasted electricity down". It's an older motel, which is fine,... More

The room was satisfactory. Most important it was clean. My room was very basic but, more than adequate for my stay in the Burlington area. The Inn is very close to downtown Burlington and access to the interstate highway. The owner is very personable. Wi-fi speed was more than adequate. Even though it is located along a busy highway going... More

The rooms were fair considering the amount of money that you are paying to spend the night or two. My parents have already used this inn twice because there is no need to be by the waterfront when you can just walk there throughout the day. The owner is very nice once you get to talk to him and he... More

Spartan but clean and had everything I needed (except heat, which owner said he doesn't turn on before October 1st but the temp was ok in the room for the limited time I spent in it, just not quite as warm as I would have preferred - I was there during an unusually chilly spell in mid-September). I was surprised... More

After spending quite a bit of time looking for an available hotel for that night, I really had no choice but to stay here. It was late, I was exhausted and I needed a room. I called ahead and was told there was availability so I told him I’d be there in a few minutes. I was prepared to be... More

First off, Burlington, VT is probably the most overpriced city I've visited in the past 10 years and the price of lodging is no exception. G.G.T Tibet Inn was just fine for our recent one night stay. Our room was clean and obviously well maintained even though some of the furnishings have been around for a few years. Bed was... More

I have never been speaken to so poorly by anyone in my entire life. Management is rude, inconsiderate, and distasteful. My one word of advice for anyone staying here is DONT. To begin, there is no cell service at all. It's as though they shut it off to make you even more miserable staying here and then they act oblivious... More
