I spent two nights here after learning that fastidious Burlington friends often put guest overflows here. It's fine and more than acceptable for the price. Pros: A small refrigerator, comfortable bed, friendly (if laconic) management, clean room, excellent restaurant next door. Cons: The bathroom, by US standards, is beyond tiny. I'm not voluminous so it suited me, but if you... More

I booked a room with Expedia at this motel on June 29 and after all the information was received, Expedia showed that the room could be cancelled on June 28! Expedia would not cancel the reservation unless I pay $169 even more than a month before our arrival. Awful! Expedia is hand-in-hand with the owner of this cheap motel! I... More

Okay, call me a slow learner but we booked the G.G.T. Tibet Inn (through Expedia) then read the Trip Advisor reviews. If I had read the reviews first, I may have decided not to book a room in this hotel. It seems some visitors have had a "not-too-stellar" experience from the owner, Mr. Tsang. Armed with these negative comments, we... More

We were made to feel very uncomfortable during our stay... When we arrived at our room on the second night we found ourselves locked out of our room. When we went down to the front desk, the owner accused us of smoking in our room and said he'd prefer it if we left despite our night already being payed for... More

This is not your typical hotel but we had an enjoyable experience spending quite a lot of time talking to the manager and finding out about the history of the Tibetans and about the hotel. Rooms were more than adequate but not your conventional standard. Decor and furniture is basic and a bit dated. Price is unbeatable. We spent a... More

Choice of accommodation is dependent on so many variables. The G.G.T.Tibet Inn is unlikely to be chosen for many other reasons than convenience and economy. We stayed at the G.G.T. simply because it offered a stopover before an very early morning flight and it was a short and simple drive to Burlington Airport. There are few hints of connection with... As long as you steer clear of the staff during your stay, you will get what you pay for: a stay at a budget and somewhat outdated (even shabby) motel. It has one of the lowest prices in the Burlington area, and there is a reason for that - it is a very low end establishment. You will have a... More

We realize that the owners are trying to have an interesting "Tibetan inn". This one could use a little work. Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge and Microwave did not turn on til we asked the manager - power was on a power bar at the back "to keep the wasted electricity down". It's an older motel, which is fine,... More

The room was satisfactory. Most important it was clean. My room was very basic but, more than adequate for my stay in the Burlington area. The Inn is very close to downtown Burlington and access to the interstate highway. The owner is very personable. Wi-fi speed was more than adequate. Even though it is located along a busy highway going... More

The rooms were fair considering the amount of money that you are paying to spend the night or two. My parents have already used this inn twice because there is no need to be by the waterfront when you can just walk there throughout the day. The owner is very nice once you get to talk to him and he... More
