This is a very nice hotel in a great location. This was my first trip to Vermont and this hotel set the stage for a great visit. Ideally located near the Church Street Marketplace, it is rustic and yet luxurious and the rooms are comfortable yet just a bit small. The common area pantry is great, I just wish they... More

Stayed recently and have previously stayed in 6+ hotels in the Middlebury and Burlington VT area. The Hotel prides itself on use of as much local product and building materials as possible. The rooms have a white pine or white ash wook finish with very little use of chemical stains / preservatives. Has a bit of a European / Nortic... More

While on a prolong assignment in the Burlington, VT area I will only stay at the Hotel Vermont. The staff here is very friendly, courteous and go way out of their way to make the stay as best they can for me. Most important is that the accommodations are all very clean and on point. Management is very much on... More

We stayed here for the first time after many previous visits to Burlington. The space is very cool ! Many unusual amenities and a staff that can't be beat ! We had a medical issue with our college age son and the hotel staff was extremely caring and accommodating to our needs. We loved this place and have already planned... More

Great location near downtown Burlington, and less than a 1/2 hour walk to the University of Vermont campus. The room was very comfortable and attractive, and the staff were friendly and professional. I had a bit of trouble getting hot water in the shower in the morning, but that's my only complaint. Overall a great place to stay.

Just returned from a quick (one night) stay at the Hotel Vermont, and we will definitely be back! It is our new "home base" in Burlington. Our daughter just finished her freshman year at the University of Vermont, and we've already spent many hotel nights in Burlington (probably 8-10 in the last year and a half, between college selection visits,... Our 1st stay at Hotel Vermont. The hotel is new and very nicely appointed. It is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is modern yet rustic and very nice. Interaction with staff was minimal but staff was very pleasant and friendly. Free wifi was great and was very fast. There is a restaurant and bar on... More

We recently stayed at Hotel Vermont on a whim during Restaurant Week and had a wonderful experience! The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. We stayed in one of the top floor bedrooms and splurged a little to get the Whirlpool King with Fireplace. It was definitely worth it! We loved the rustic, yet modern decor and all of the... More

This hotel was an experience - unique and charismatic, with friendly staff always there to help. The free bikes were an awesome touch, and I was really impressed with the simple yet very cool design of our bedroom. The food in the restaurant is also delicious- we had pulled pork sandwiches after our cycle, and after a chilled bottle of... More

We spent three nights there recently. Very impressed by friendly staff and overall clean presentation of hotel. Most of downtown and the waterfront is within easy walking distance. Parking garage is attached with easy access to hotel. Only complaint is the hallway noise you can hear while in the room. We would definitely return on our next visit!
