Hotel Vermont has successfully married the experience of being in a rustic cabin and being in a fancy downtown loft. It's somewhat of a Scandanavian experience, and it's cozy and certainly has a lot of charm from the time you walk in the front door. The staff was all extremely nice and the location was perfect for us with its... More

I and 3 business colleagues were scheduled to spend a night at Hotel Vermont earlier this month, however due to horrible flight issues, only I was able to be in Burlington and my arrival was 6hrs delayed. The staff arranged for late check-in for me and graciously cancelled my colleagues reservations at no cost. The room was spacious and very... More

The hotel website does not do this small hotel justice! From the moment you walk in, you are hit with the fresh scent of lavender and fire (from the hotel lobby's wood burning fireplace). We were only in town for the night for a concert, but we are already planning a trip back up! Everything is clean and the location... More

Conde Nast Traveller magazine's readers just named the Hotel Vermont the 14th best hotel in the U.S. After a recent stay, I agree- it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The Hotel Vermont is more than a hotel, it is an example of outstanding architecture and design, run by a young, intelligent staff eager to please.... More

Very sleek, modern hotel near the water in downtown Burlington. We arrived and parked in front of the hotel; the front desk staff told us it was $10 cheaper to just park ourselves in the deck next door as opposed to using valet, so that's what we did. The staff was really nice and hospitable and gave us the scoop... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. We LOVED it! The lobby has a cozy fireplace where you can sit and sip cocktails from Juniper. The front desk staff was inviting and friendly. I loved the beverage station outside the elevator on each floor, stocked with complimentary apples and local teas and... More

We stayed here three nights (a Friday/Saturday, then again the following Friday) in late September when we traveled to Burlington for a cycling tour. When we checked in (~10:30 on a Friday night), a live band was playing in the lobby, making it impossible to hear the gentleman at the desk (his heavy accent didn't help). The music wasn't bad... We took a quick jaunt to Vermont for my birthday last February and were lucky enough to stay at this great boutique hotel. Equal touches of rustic and contemporary allowed for the perfect vibe both in the well-appointed rooms and the common areas like the happening bar, Juniper (that we closed at something o'clock). Hen of the Wood restaurant next... More

Hotel Vermont was the perfect place to stay for a week away in Vermont. Great location. Bar and restaurant were fantastic. Couldn't have found a better stay in Burlington. The rooms are a nice size and, truthfully, the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept it
