We needed a motel room for the night and everyone else was completely booked. The manager knew that everyone was booked, and was sympathetic enough to even give us a $10 discount. The room was warm, homey, the beds were comfy, the TV wasn't fuzzy and there were tons of channels. There was even a refrigerator and microwave. The showers... more

Our evening started out when we entered the room and turned on the AC and all the lights went out. After 20 minutes they got them back on. The desk clerk didn't know enough to check the breakers (he had to be told). The ceiling tiles were hanging down over the bed. The tub faucet dripped and ran and would... more

My husband, step-son (17) and myself stayed here on August 25, 2007 for 1 night. School was starting, the fair, several weddings made finding a hotel in Burlington nearly impossible. We were not expecting much when we were sent there, (the name) we were pleasantly surprised. it was clean and very spacious. The management gave us extra towels when we... more

My daughter and I stayed here because all other hotels were booked because of a dog show and it was late. The mattress was so worn out that we had springs digging into our backs and shoulders. It was like sleeping on a grill, you could feel every bar across your back. Even with pillows underneath us, we could still... more

The Ho-Hum on Shelburne Rd in South Burlington is by far the worst motel room I have ever stayed in. The two bath towels were rough on the skin and would barely fit around a 28" waist. The tub obviously had not been scubbed because of the black ring visable around it. The thin wooden door between the adjoining room... more

The Ho Hum motel on Williston Road is not managed by a man called Kevin. (There are 2 Ho Hums) We stayed at the Williston Road Ho Hum after attending the our daughters graduation ceremony at the University of Vermont this past weekend. The room was very clean and the manager was very kind and treated me and my wife... more

Do not stay here. Mangager "Kevin" gave me a weekly rate, then made me leave after five days. Did not give me a refund. I had to go to another hotel and pay again for days I already paid for! Very bad. Rooms smelly, had old wood paneling from late 1960s and early 1970s. Faucet leaked entire time and manager... more

While traveling out to Boston with my mother we stayed at the Ho-Hum Motel 1668 Willistom Rd in S. Burlington VT. We got to Burlington around 7p.m. and it was rainy and starting to get foggy. We had not made any reservations for the night and were looking for an affordable hotel for the night. After checking out a couple... more

They actually have two locations, there's one on Shelburne road in South Burlington too. Decent prices compared to others in town. Simple, no frills. Dogs allowed. more
