Bel Aire is a small, family-oriented, clean place to stay when visiting Burlington, VT. In addition to welcoming amenities, the hotel is located near the heart of the city for those who want to go there, but far enough away to be relaxed and take a stroll in a lovely residential area. The highest marks for this hotel, however, go... More

My mistake not to make reservations ahead of time - called one day in advance and was disappointed that they were full. However, they were SO NICE and apologized to ME for not being able to accommodate me. Gave me a few suggestions. With that kind of customer service, I will definitely stay here if I ever find myself in... More

The family that owns and operates the motel is amazing. They went out of their way to accomodate a special request we had. While the rooms may be on the smaller side, they do include a mini refrigerator and a microwave. The location is just south of the town, and while you could walk, it may be a little too... More

This was our first time to the Burlington VT area and we wanted a clean affordable place to stay that was also close to the sights. Our room was small but it had a mini fridge, microwave and a TV. The AC was loud but it’s a wall unit, it cooled the room nicely during the heat wave. We were... More

Small room with refrigerator, microwave n TV. Room was newly decorated n very clean. People that own this place were very nice; family owned motel. 10 minute drive to church street market and the waterfront. I would say about a mile n half by car. Very close but not walkable. Price was reasonable

The family is very very nice to deal with and although it isn't the newest of places, it is clean with a small refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. The rooms are small and they don't offer breakfast - only coffee but for the price you can't go wrong. The motel only has about 15 rooms but really felt we... More

The room was pretty small and the parking was tight. No fridge in our room. The shower was tiny. No breakfast. Why a rating of 4? Because Burlington hotels are "out of whack" expensive and the Bel Aire charges a fair rate. You could walk to town. (You could, I didn't) There's lots of restaurants nearby. It's right next to... We go to Burlington fairly often and always stay at the Bel Aire. The rooms are nothing fancy but they are clean and have the basics: TV, Wi-Fi, etc. Room #19 has a refrigerator and a counter with cupboards. Best of all it is very convenient to downtown Burlington and the price for the location is great!

Rooms were a little small & dated but clean & the the grounds are very well kept with lots of seating for enjoying the out doors. The adjacent property has a beautiful cooperative garden to view. walking time to downtown for restaurants & shopping is about 10 minutes. The owners are very accommodating & pleasant to talk to offering tips... More

An old school motel in Burlington, Vermont that was super clean, and a 15 minute walk to downtown. Most of the time, places like this are run down, and not very comfortable, but the Bel Aire is certainly an exception. You need to telephone directly to make a reservation, or just show up, if there is a vacancy available. Burlington... More
