Stayed here with a friend on our way to Nova Scotia. Robin at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant and told us of things to do downtown. The rooms are small but very clean and accommodating and we enjoyed our stay that evening, before continuing our trip the next morning. I would definitely stay here again. It's a... More

There were positives and negatives about this place. The positives: location to Church St., hot water for the shower, price. Negatives: parking lot (back your car in), a creepy cat lurking around the property (I'm allergic), beds are super hard, and showers are not for tall people. I am 5'8" and my husband is 6'3" and the shower was hard... More

Myself and four brothers just returned from our second visit to Bell Zaire Motel. Once again we were treated with courtesy and flexibility as we are all riding motorcycles. The facilities are clean well cared for and in a great location. They were very kind to allow us to sit out front at night with lively conversation and snacks. We... More

We were in Burlington for a one night stay. We checked if they had a room available as we drove by, and they had. The place looks well-maintained. The room was clean and neat, so was the bathroom. The receptionist was very friendly. Would stay here again.

My husband and I have stayed at this motel a few times over the yeas. We live in Vermont and ocasionally we need to stay locally in Burlington. This is our first choice always. OUr experience has always been tremendously positive. Our most recent stay was May 17 2014. Our son was graduating from UVM and we needed to stay... More

I just stayed at the spacious, comfortable, clean and reasonably- priced Bel Aire Motel with my husband and son. We are African-American and couldn't have been more warmly received. My 18 yrs. in the travel industry has taught me that you cannot stay in a hotel using someone else's credit card. It is standard operating procedure...end of story! I look... More

The night manager would not accept my credit card for the rental of a room for my adult black son who was to start as a sous chef for one of the main restaurants in town the next day. She claimed that she could only take a credit card from the person staying. When I said in that case I... More

Your review could not be further from the truth. We have never discriminated against anyone, and welcome everyone to our motel. A young man stopped in for a night's stay, and I offered him a room. He did not have a valid credit card and asked if someone else could pay for the room. I explained that each guest must... More

We were road tripping recently from New York to Cananda and my four friends and I stayed here for the night. It was a very quaint, nice little motel and the women running it couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived late at night and this was no problem for her. Maps and information about the town available at reception.... More

In some ways, this motel is like many other motels with small rooms, small bathrooms and nothing even close to fancy. But, putting that aside, the room and bathroom is very clean, the bed comfortable, the owners very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. The location is easy to get to, near the center of town with several nice... More

Stayed at the Bel-Aire in late September for one night. We love motels like this - older style, friendly owners, and just more character than the usual chains. Price was reasonable for the area. Close to drive downtown - wish we could have spent another day. Lake Champlain Chocolate factory very close by - that was an interesting stop. Stayed... More
