TripAdvisor steered me wrong on this one. Room was nothing like how other travelers described. Many reviews describe it as a quaint gem of a motel. It was small and very plain for what the cost. This would have been fine had the room not cost over $100 a night. Defeats the purpose of staying at a motel and very... More

The place was great. The staff were very friendly. The room was a good size and very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a full curtain over the window but other than that I enjoyed my stay a lot. I plan to use this place on any return trip to Burlington.

Well located on Shelburn Rd, a quick drive to Church St. You could walk to Church St. in the summer (it is away), or take a 6-7$ Uber ride door-to-door. There is also relatively inexpensive multi-level parking right off Church St. Very accomodating & friendly owners. The rooms are dated, but everything is very clean, and you get great value... More

This little jewel is a real find. Non-franchised, very homey, yet the rooms are clean and service is great. Love the cat who patrols the premises and makes herself at home while you unpack. Not quite close enough to walk to UVM, but it's an easy bike ride, and it's a short hop by car to the mall. We found... More

Exactly what it claims to be, small friendly, family run, clean. Great coffee. Only a short walk from the centre Enjoyed it and would stay again. Wonderful views in and around Burlington. Next time I think we'll take the car on a ferry to NY state

We chose Bel Aire for it's great location and reasonable price. It didn't disappoint! This family owned property is small - dated, but very clean. The beds were comfortable, bathroom shower ridiculously small, and there was outside noise. It didn't bother us - we would stay here again.

Our room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to sit outside our room, while enjoying the weather and relaxing. Our shower was a little small. But overall this was a pleasant surprise for a small motel. It was nice to be so close to downtown. We would stay here again.

My room was clean and in good repair albeit dated. I actually get a kick out of Green tile bathrooms!!! Microwave and fridge. WIFI was flawless. The bed was very comfortable I had a great night's sleep. Overall a very pleasant experience!!! Beware the bad reviews, It seems some check into a motel expecting a 4 start HOTEL experience. There's... More

We stayed for two nights while touring the area. The location is great, only a 4-5 minute drive to downtown and close to the airport and university. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. A nice change from the large chain hotels. Parking lot is very tight! Back your vehicle into the stall or getting out of the lot... More

My friend Paul and I were visiting friends in Burlington last week. The University of Vermont was hosting a football game. Hotel rooms were scarce. We could not be picky when it came to accomodation. The Bel Aire Motel was very affordable. The rooms were very clean. They had complimentary WiFi, Robin, the owner operator was very pleasant and approachable.... More
