We go to Burlington fairly often and always stay at the Bel Aire. The rooms are nothing fancy but they are clean and have the basics: TV, Wi-Fi, etc. Room #19 has a refrigerator and a counter with cupboards. Best of all it is very convenient to downtown Burlington and the price for the location is great!

Rooms were a little small & dated but clean & the the grounds are very well kept with lots of seating for enjoying the out doors. The adjacent property has a beautiful cooperative garden to view. walking time to downtown for restaurants & shopping is about 10 minutes. The owners are very accommodating & pleasant to talk to offering tips... More

An old school motel in Burlington, Vermont that was super clean, and a 15 minute walk to downtown. Most of the time, places like this are run down, and not very comfortable, but the Bel Aire is certainly an exception. You need to telephone directly to make a reservation, or just show up, if there is a vacancy available. Burlington... More

I emailed the office at the last minute to inquire about a room. The person answered promptly about rooms they had available, answered all my questions, and offered us a few reasonably priced options. We checked in at 8, and we had a mini-fridge, microwave, and queen size bed. It is about a mile from downtown Burlington, and the person... More

We loved our stay here! The room was very clean and comfortable and reasonably-priced, the location extremely convenient to downtown and to a lovely park, the owners super-friendly, and the free office coffee great!! Extra points for being a local business!

I was arriving from out of town on a late flight and I needed a room for the night close to the waterfront for a reasonable price. The Bel Aire fit my needs to the "T". Jesse assured me that my room would be ready and because of the time of night I was arriving arrangements were made for me to... More

We absolutely loved this place. It was our first time in Burlington and so glad we found this motel. The rooms were so clean and comfortable for two adults and a child. The owner was so friendly and helped with finding attractions and printed directions for us. It felt like we were visiting family! We will always come back to... More

I love seeing smiling faces after people visit Burlington for the first time. Burlington is unlike anything else, and hard to explain without seeing it first hand. I am very happy you were pleased with our rooms. As you know we are family owned and operated and we pride ourselves on having the cleanest rooms available. Please come visit your... More

Bel Aire Motel was the only affordable place I could find for a last minute vacation stay in Burlington with my parents. We had a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed, perfect for 3 adults. Very clean and quiet. It's really close to Burlington center, you can take your car and park, but walking to center or waterfront... More

As advertised, it's an old motel, the prices are pretty good, and location is perfect, you can walk to church street and be there in 20 minutes. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and the staff is super friendly. The only thing that we didn't like was the funky smell in the room, it seemed like the products they use... More

Thank you for staying with us, and your kind words. We are excited to see you had a good stay with us. To touch upon the odor mentioned, I believe you were staying in a room in which the carpets had just been replaced. I do apologize. On your next travel to Burlington make sure to give us a call,... TripAdvisor steered me wrong on this one. Room was nothing like how other travelers described. Many reviews describe it as a quaint gem of a motel. It was small and very plain for what the cost. This would have been fine had the room not cost over $100 a night. Defeats the purpose of staying at a motel and very... More
