My wife and I stayed in the carriage house above the garage at the Elmwood Guest House during the fourth of July weekend. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The carriage house was recently remodelled, and is clean, bright, and nicely decorated. The room included coffee, tea, granola, yogurt, milk, orange, juice, etc. as other reviewers mentioned. We stayed at the Elmwood Guest House on a Friday night at the end of Jazz Fest. Convenient location to the University and downtown. We had a private entrance with a sitting room, private bath, walk-through and large bedroom. The walk-through area from the bathroom to bedroom had a small refrigerator, granola bars, milk and coffee pot.

This is an excellent location for a B&B. It is relatively quiet, yet within easy walking distance of the waterfront, the town centre and the shops. The bedroom and sitting room are a good size and comfortable. We were made to feel welcome on arrival which is always a good start, but we were somewhat disappointed by the breakfast. It... More

This B&B is wonderful. There is a private entrance and porch. The pictures do not do it justice. Sandy is wonderful. We loved the location to Church St., which is just one block away. We typically do not drive at night in places we don't know, so this gave us a chance to get back by dark but still have... More

Gave this a four only because you don't get breakfast but for quality of the accommodation, location, cleanliness five plus. So handy for all the local amenities, very easy five minutes walk into town and ten to the lake. Very comfortable sleigh bed, plenty of room and safe parking. We liked having our own front door and porch, rather an... More

This is a very comfortable well-located place to stay. The suite of rooms comprises of a bedroom, sitting room, little pantry area (with fridge) and bathroom. It is very quiet and in a prime position near the town centre and lake. Sandy very much respects your privacy. The DVDs are welcome. Recommend it wholeheartedly.

After reading the other Trip Advisor reviews, my husband and I decided the Elmwood Guest House was the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon in Burlington. Elmwood Guest House was perfect for my wife and I. It's a spacious 3 room section of the house with a private entry. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have slept in. We loved the DVD selection for the television. The shower was hot and spacious and the bathrooms tile work was beautiful. Everything was very clean.... More

I loved my stay at Elmwood Guest House! The owner, Sandy, is the sweetest woman and was very helpful. Her 3-room guest suite is beautifully furnished, clean, and completely equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the location was perfect! Only one block from Church St. and fabulous restaurants and a ten minute walk to the waterfront park. My husband and... More

My boyfriend and I went for a long weekend right after the new year. We arrived in the late afternoon and the owner, Sandy, greeted us. She is very friendly.
