We stayed at the inn for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Every morning there was a delicious cooked breakfast with homemade scones. Edie and Chuck helped us plan every day of our visit by advising hiking trails, cycle routes and local attractions. This is a great location to stay, close to Woodstock with plenty and trails close by.... More

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children. The owners are very nice and friendly. They serve a healthy, delicious breakfast. Our room was large and very comfortable. The living room downstairs had a bunch of games that the kids enjoyed and above the property was a swimming pool. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If you're looking for a comfortable inn with a pool with good access to Woodstock, the October Country Inn may be the place. Many cyclists and hikers stay here. Both Edie and Chuck were very helpful hosts as Edie is a former cyclist guide and Chuck knows the hiking trails. We loved our blue and white room under the eaves... More

This place is a slice of pure heaven. The hospitality is perfect, the homemade bread and breakfast is delicious besides the cookie jar is filled with homemade chocolate chip cookies. Nothing could be finer than staying here!!! The swimming pool looked inviting even though it was a chilly day. Look forward to relaxing in the hammock with a good book... More

Edie and Chuck have created a wonderful spot to relax and recharge. The inn is extremely comfortable with a BEAUTIFUL garden. Our girls loved the swing and later, our family enjoyed taking advantage of the incredible collection of board games. After selecting our favorite mug for coffee and tea, a delicious breakfast the next morning set us on our way.... More

We booked October Country Inn for a short bicycling get away June 2014. The inn is cozy and well appointed with lovely common spaces and beautiful grounds. (Should have brought our bathing suits for the pool!) The breakfasts were lovely with the best scones! But what made our trip was the great advice from Edie and Chuck. Edie suggested great... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend during 'mud season' April 2013'. It was a very nice get away. Comfortable, clean and quite. The owners are very interesting people as they shared a few of their younger year escapades with us over home made breakfast scones.

We visited October Country Inn at the end of May 2013 and enjoyed a wonderful anniversary weekend. Chuck and Edie were so kind, welcoming and accommodating. When we arrived they greeted us warmly, showed us to our room. They had a bottle of wine and a little card for our anniversary, a really nice touch. The room was lovely, very... More

This was my first ever B&B experience and I think it set the bar high. We found Chuck and Edie to be delightful inn keepers and very accommodating, as we booked last minute in a spur of the moment snowboarding trip. Before my wife and I went to dinner, we found ourselves chatting to other guests while sitting around the... More

Just returned from a weekend stay at October Counrty Inn and already checking the calendar to see when we can return! The inn keepers Edie and Chuck made this feel like a home away from home. Awesome hospitality from the small kitchen area for guests with tea, coffee, sodas and homemade chocolate chip cookies ... The warm inviting living room... More
