I recently stayed at the Forty Putney B&B for five nights during a business trip and I loved it. Rhonda, the owner, picked me up at the Brattleboro train station and gave me a ride to the inn (what service!). I stayed in the Maple room which had the most comfortable bed (TempurPedic) and softest sheets I've ever encountered while... More

Forty Putney B&B was beautiful, relaxing and one of the very best places we have ever stayed! The view from the Garden room is gorgeous, and I am certain even more amazing as the trees and flowers start to bloom. Rhonda was accommodating and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived! Everything we needed to relax... More

I often travel to the area on business and found my normal hotel booked for my recent trip and branched out to Forty Putney based on reviews from this site and I'm so glad I did! From the time I checked in to the time I left it was an excellent experience! Rhonda has truly thought of EVERYTHING and will... More

Forty Putney B&B is a charming. relaxing and comfortable place you must stay. Rhonda the owner, takes great care to make sure her guests needs and wants are satisfied. You will be greeted and welcomed by Rhonda's personal touch in the pub to check you in. The breakfast is outstanding, each one is original and delicious. I will back to... More

Great location, great rooms and facilities. Stayed here last week for one night, lovely welcome and very homely type of place. Definitely felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hot tub is great and would be even better in the summer. Would definitely recommend

A few friends and I spent three nights at Forty Putney Road B & B this past weekend for my birthday. We stayed in the Carriage house, in the Maple, and Hummingbird room. Honestly, it could have not been any more perfect. The house is spectacular, Rhonda is a fantastic host (Oh-my-God her breakfast is to die for!), and the... More

We stayed in the Maple Room, which is in the Carriage House. The room was decorated in soothing neutrals, had an uber-comfy bed, a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer to use the hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and Rhonda, the owner, has a great sense of humor and really strives... More

I visited the Fort Putney Road Bed and Breakfast in February with my friend who was celebrating her 50th birthday. We were delighted with the rooms and breakfast. However, on the first night the first night we noticed that our radiators were off. I called the Inn from our restaurant and asked that the heat be turned on. It was... More

At Forty Putney Road, we always strive to definitely exceed the needs of each and every one of our guests, and it’s disappointing when we have not been able to give our guests an overall excellent experience. I am sorry that the fireplace remote malfunctioned in the early morning hours. After maintenance, it was discovered that the batteries required replacement.... More

Comfy and cozy with gracious hosts. From the moment we walked in the door our needs were met. The room was lovely with fine quality linens and toiletries. One of the nicest b&b's i have experienced. I highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I recently planned and stayed a long weekend getaway to Forty Putney Road Inn in Brattleboro VT and, in short, it was amazing. Let's start with the property: Beautiful 6 room Inn nestled in the trees about a 3 minute drive (or 10 minute walk which we did a couple times) to downtown Brattleboro. The property sits... More
