The food was fabulous! The grounds and rooms beautiful. Easy walking distance to downtown and to the lake (just down the hill). We wanted a romantic Vermont bed & breakfast to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Forty Putney Road exceeded our expectations. Beautiful inn, romantic room, delicious breakfasts and an awesome pub. Plus it's just a short walk to downtown Brattleboro which has really interesting stores and restaurants.
