We stayed for two wonderful days at the Spirit Hill Farm and could not have found a more soothing and relaxing place to spend our weekend. Peter and Virginia are very warm hosts who know a lot about the area and kindly helped us plan our days in Southern Vermont. The Inn is so inviting - you feel immediately at... more

My husband and I spent 6 nights at Spirit Hill Farm at the beginning of October. It is a lovely setting with great accomodations and exceptional hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Virginia and Peter were wonderful. They immediately made us feel welcome and did their utmost to make our stay pleasant. They were very helpful and made suggestions... more

My husband and I stayed at Spirit Hill Farm for a long fall foliage-viewing weekend in October. We loved Peter and Virginia (the proprietors) and every moment we spent at Spirit Hill. Our first night, we had a fantastic dinner, which we felt was even better than the dinners we had at Vermont fine dining establishments our other two nights.... more

Spirit Hill Farm was amazing! We stayed for two nights in the Garden Suite. It was so beautiful, calm, and relaxing. The room was warm and cozy, and the bed was so comfy. The room was decorated very tastefully, no doilies or ugly quilts. It is new and remodeled. The bathroom is gorgeous as well. Virginia and Peter are wonderful... more

My husband and I stayed for one night at Spirit Hill Farm at the end of our 10 day tour of New England and enjoyed it very much. The farmhouse is very picturesque, sitting on a little hill at the end of a winding driveway. Our petite suite was cozy with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. Our bathroom... more

My wife and I just returned from a great trip to Brattleboro and southern Vermont, where we stayed for two nights at Spirit Hill Farm. We loved our brief stay there and hope to return. Spirit Hill is a small but working farm. The llamas were quite entertaining, as we had never been around them before, and we perhaps took... more

We are an italian family who visited, whit our child, Massachusset, Maine, New Hampshire, Quebec and Vermont. We have been hosted in many beautiful places, from four stars hotel to cozy b&b or charming golf resorts, but Spirit Hill Farm has been probably the best place we have been. The place is stunning, almost in the middle of the forest,... more

We stayed at Spirit Hill Farm for two wonderful nights in their 'Garden Suite'. We're a couple in our mid-twenties and were looking for a place that could be romantic but also give us access to hiking, canoeing and swimming in the river. We found it all in Spirit Hill Farm. Though we have never splurged like this for accommodation... more

If you're looking for a cozy inn that combines peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings inside and out then a stop at Spirit Hill Farm is a must. It is off the beaten track a bit but it's an easy drive into town for dinner or a great beer at McNeill's. It's worth the 10 extra minutes or so to... more

Beautifully situated and charming small country inn, attentively run by Virginia and Peter Vogel. We enjoyed meeting other guests and sharing a wonderful home cooked dinner and breakfast. Waking up to llamas outside our window, well, that is just unforgetable! We'll definitely go back next year. more
