This was a random choice, we just needed a night in Vermont on our road trip. Turned out pretty good though. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, probably the best in the 5 hotels we stayed in. We were in the back in the one story line of rooms and got to back in right in front of our door. It... More

Stayed overnight while traveling through the area. Older building, but remodeled to be very clean and comfortable. Soap dispensers by sink and shower were great. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Light breakfast bar was a welcome perk. We didn't make it into the pool, but did check it out - very nice. We'd definitely stay... More

You are greeted with a smile and given and actual room key, while the enticing smells make you feel like you've just come home. The rooms are average, the toilet paper holder was broken and there is nowhere to hang your coat. But honestly, I always want to come back. The beds are comfortable and clean, as are the rooms.... So I made a big mistake. We decided to head up to VT a day early, so I booked this place on a whim. I relied on reviews from one site but failed to check other sites that spoke the truth. Upon walking into the main check in area, it was warm and cozy with a wood stove burning so... More

Check in was quick and friendly, room was clean and ready. We chose Colonial because they are dog friendly (+$15) the pool/spa/ gym was a plus even though in a separate building with locker rooms. Great for price!

Easy access off the highway, Groceries across the street, shops and resturants close by. The woman at the front desk was very helpful , accommodating and a pleasure to talk with (Wish i asked her name-will be back to get it). The check-In was simple, fast and painless. With a big snow storm on the way i needed a place... More

My boyfriend and I spent a Saturday night here before skiing at Mount Snow and it was a great choice. Mount Snow was about a 40 minute drive from the hotel but it was well worth it. The hotel was cheap and it was a very short drive from local restaurants, shops and bars. The only bad thing about the... More

We are not fussy travelers. We always are ok with economy. But this place, oh this place. Our room appeared not to have been upgraded since 1970. Carpet was so matted and dirty, we never took our shoes off. Mildew in the shower stall. The TV had multiple extension cords all plugged together - shrieking "fire hazard"! No screens in... More

The motel is fine. It's confortable, and it meets the basic needs of most travelers. The fact that dogs are allowed is a definite plus. We've stayed here several times and we've been satisfied. We've never used the spa/pool/gym, but I guess that's an attraction.
