Stayed here for one night, it's not the Marriott but the other local hotels with better ratings were full. The management pictures on tripadvisor do it much more than justice, more like poetic license / best side. On the plus side the room was clean, the bed comfortable, far enough off the road for quite and the tv worked. Looks... More

We found this hotel in Brattleboro, Vermont while attending a school reunion in Putney, VT. We found it charming as well as reasonably priced. The front desk service was extremely friendly and hospitable. We would recommend this to any of our friends or family and plan on staying again.

Got there late for a weekend getaway, stormy night , got to our room and went to the tavern 1st to get some food, food was very good a bit pricey, but well prepared, got to our room and looked around, not bad, old school tv and a/c unit, but we were tired so we hit the bed(very comfortable) next... Dining was not an option opened at 5.00 and closed at 9.00. Advertising pictures very misleading. Bar not open and quaint NeW England Inn not experienced. Overall poor . Would not recommend. Is not a spa. No treatments available other than outside massage.

I followed suggestions given here and got nowhere. I asked for a new or renovated room. They agreed when I called ahead but on arrival told me there are no renovated rooms or updated sections. Desk associate said instead that every room has been upgraded (meaning 'fixed') since new owners took over a year ago. Ton of work has been done... More

They offered 3 different king size accommodations. We took the one in the middle and we're put on the second floor. Hated dragging all out stuff to the second floor when all the cheap rooms you drove up to the door. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

The service is very pleasant but the rooms are old and dingy. My teenage kids could not use the hot tub even with me in it with them. The pool lanes are lap lanes and full of locals. Measly little continental breakfast. Not bad but not good overall….

This motel has a quaint "throwback" feel. The staff at both the front desk and the fitness center/pool were very friendly and helpful. The room was simple but clean. The rooms are a good distance from the road which makes for a peaceful nights sleep. Bring a bathing suit for the outdoor hot tub open year round.

Just back from a 3 night stay at this establishment. I booked a 3 night stay to celebrate by sons 16th birthday by snowboarding at Mt Snow (25 mins away). Queen room, 2 queen beds 230$ for 3 nights - not bad. Friends of ours were in another room with their 2 16 yr olds. I picked this hotel because... More

Brattleboro is a great stopover on the way between Boston and Northern Vermont/New Hampshire, and the Colonial Motel is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful setting away from the main road, nice management, a pool/spa area and, yes, a few friendly skunks on the lawn at night. All that at very competetive rates. If you're in the area, look no...
