We stayed two nights in Brattleboro after spending two nights in Manchester so that my husband and son could be closer to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a Nascar race. Brattleboro has a very different feel to it than Manchester and at first we felt unsure about our decision, but the hotel and its location grew on us. We... More

We spent a night at the Latchis Hotel and had a great stay. Our room (#307) was "The Silver Screen" room and was recently redone in all silver and black, with movie star photos and gorgeous purple lounge chairs. The room was very spacious and featured fabulous Art Deco details such as steel casement windows and Terrazzo detailing. The view... More

I've stayed in boutique/retro hotels before so I feel I have a handle on just how "quirky" they can be and this hotel was no exception. We were in 3 rooms during our stay and the difference between them was huge. When booking I would definitely ask for a newly renovated room with AC (summer), our first room was not... More

Staying at the Latchis Hotel was fun, though pricey. Located in the middle of the downtown area made walking to restaurants easy. The movie theater right in the hotel was good fun. We didn't much care for the continental breakfast (usual carb heavy fare with hard-boiled eggs). There was fresh fruit one day but only packaged fruit the next. We... More

My husband and I purchased the king room package. It included a nights stay, movie tickets and dinner. The room was both clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel which has been renovated and beautifully decorated. All the essentials were provided. We ate at Whetstone Station microbrewery which has a great waterfront location and excellent food and service. We... More

I just came back from a one night stay at the Latchis and hope to return again soon. I made a last minute decision for a mini road trip to Vermont, and having never visited Brattleboro, I needed a place that was easily accessible to the restaurants and shops. From the moment I called and when I checked in to... More

This is our second time at the Latchis. We had stumbled on it a few years ago and were delighted to return. We were told this is one of only two Art Deco buildings in all of Vermont. From the very friendly staff to the beautiful architecture, this hotel deserves your attention. Clean and neat, the room is a charming... More

We found this jewel in Brattleboro, Vermont while attending a school reunion in Putney, VT. We found it charming as well as reasonably priced. The front desk service was extremely friendly and hospitable. We would recommend this to any of our friends or family and plan on staying again.

I attended a conference in Brattleboro. I always stay at this hotel. I get a great nights sleep. I hadn't been there in a few years and they have done some repair/updating. All in good taste. Attached to the hotel is the Latchis Movie Theatre which has had some extensive repairs. It is a beautiful spot. Right next to the... More

We stayed at the Latchis Hotel on a short vacation trip to Brattleboro. We had though about staying at a chain hotel but decided to spend a little extra money and stay at the Latchis. We were glad we did. The place definitely had a charm that the newer hotels don't have. the staff went well beyond any reasonable expectations... More
