Two years ago we spent three nights in the Satin Plum Room with its lovely brass bed. This year my wife and I booked the Cinnamon Silk Suite. We slept serenely, delved into a late breakfast and hiked the Green Mountains. Later we retreated with afternoon tea to different corners of this spacious, comfy room with good books we brought upstairs... More

My wife and I stayed at the Gazebo Inn in Brandon, VT for two nights because we could not locate any hotels or B&B's in Middlebury for Middlebury College's Family Visiting Weekend. We are happy to say that we immediately felt right at home with Innkeeper Donna. She was most pleasant (and she's a great cook, no less!). Although the... More

Thank you for your review as a Middlebury family. Yes. We are 20 south of Middlebury College, but Brandon provides a new look at Vermont; i.e., a real Vermont town, not impacted by the hustle & bustle of a college visiting weekend. We are always filled with Middlebury families who make such comments. Please do come again, especially in the... More

It was a great weekend with such interesting guests, esp. when they came from all over the world and from various parts of country. Certainly having you and your daughter visit was part of that fun experience. Please come again! More

Donna was a welcoming Innkeeper. She has a true interest in the people who stay at her Inn. We were welcomed with nice treats, and we had a delicious breakfast there as well. My husband and I walked to the town of Brandon for dinner. Donna actually went to the restaurant and delivered an umbrella to us because it looked... More

Glad you enjoyed your stay at our New England B&B. You and your husband added so much to the lively discussions among ourselves and the other guests. Thinking of another bike excursion in Vermont with your family? Would love to host you again. More

Just spent a week in Brandon and stayed at The Gazebo Inn. It was a great visit as usual! The breakfasts are delicious and nicely served. There is plenty of parking. The town of Brandon offers a lot of sightseeing opportunities.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It isn't summer without your visit. I so enjoy hosting you all. One of the benefits of having returning guests, of course, is the challenge of creating new treats to serve. I'm already viewing my cookbook library for next year! More

Having a Bed & Breakfast as my 'home' for the week was made even more perfect by the fantastic personality of Donna Taylor and her Gazebo Inn. The Inn is charming and truly feels like home. Once Donna opened the door with her cheery welcome, took us to our very comfortable rooms, and then provided us with her fabulous breakfasts... More

Donna greeted us with a wide smile and we were taken to our room. She was very friendly and the breakfast was a very tasty orange French toast. Very nice! We had great breakfast conversation with Donna and some of the other guests. Overall a great stay and an excellent recommendation by Donna to have dinner at the café Provence... More

It is always good to have guests that immediately feel comfortable around our large, family-style dining room table that can fit 10. Meeting and greeting other travelers is always fun. We are located on the main street in Brandon which vehicular traffic does use. I look forward to a future visit if you again decide to attend The Country Owl... More

My family took a biking trip last week in the Champlain Valley. We couldn't have been luckier than to have Donna Taylor's Gazebo Inn be our last stop. Our teenage daughter wasn't feeling well when we arrived early, and Donna immediately helped make her comfortable. The place is warm, clean, and comfortable and Donna makes you feel very welcome. She... More

It was a joy to host your family. Everyone was gracious and so polite -- as well as having a great sense of humor. I loved learning about Brazil and your present life on the West Coast. Taking a cycling trip is a big adventure for a family and was glad that Country Inns Along the Trail booked you here... More

It is always a delight to host students who are attending The Country Owl Studio courses. Without fail they are talented, interesting guests who are always gracious and share their myriad interests. After a three year absence, we were once again able to stay at the Gazebo Inn. Once again, Donna has been busy upgrading the outdoor areas and the results are lovely! Indoors, the ambiance and food are as good as ever. Staying with Donna is such a relaxing experience. We can't let it be so long next time!

Thank you for your kind words. I recall fondly your group's last visit and this one as a most fun time. The talents that you all bring to Dolores Funari's traditional arts school always amaze me.
