We just returned from the most wonderful 30 hour getaway at the Blueberry Hill Inn. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Tony, the innkeeper, packed us off with homemade cookies and shuttled us to the start of our 10 mile ski while regaling us with local lore and stories about the inn. We skied through beautiful sunlit forest... More

The Blueberry Hill Inn is so genuine and so cozy that it really feels like our home, except that the food is superb at the Inn...Tony and Travis cooked up a fabulous feast last night, and our brunch this morning was delicious as well. We had thoroughly enjoyed our stay there six months ago, when our daughter was married, and... More

My husband and I stayed in the North Sky room which overlooked the pond and sauna. The skylights afforded a wonderful view of the moon. The meals were delicious and we ate a lot of great choc chip cookies! I briefly tried x-country skiing for the first time at the Inn - just to get a taste of it for... More

Loved our stay at Blueberry Hill Inn. We were not able to ski from the inn because of the lack of snow but did lots of hiking and also did some skiing at the nearby Rikart Center. The inn was unique offering great food and a cozy atmosphere with all the indoor plants and charming fireplaces. They offered lots of... More

A great, year-round Inn. We've done both summer and winter, and had a blast during each season. No shortage of hiking and swimming in the summer; and lots of Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Even hiked this week during the snowstorm. Trails are well marked and groomed. But the best feature of BHI is the food: Tony and... More

Skiing to Blueberry Hill Inn from Widow's Clearing or Rikert Ski Center on the MIddlebury Breadloaf Campus is a fabulous xc ski. The Inn's hospitality, including the cookies, sauna, and rustic charm are a welcome sight. Can't wait to do it again!

The Blueberry hill Inn is a very special place that my family and I have enjoyed since I was a student at Middlebury College, over thirty years ago. If what you want is an authentic, genuine experience of Vermont and all that the nature surrounding Blueberry Hill Inn can offer, this is it. If you are used to and demand... More

Blueberry Hill is a wonderful experience that I will recommend to many. We were three hikers on a self-guided trip. This is a perfect setting to get away, enjoy the park, eat good food and meet Tony and crew. The accomodations were very comfortable, and Tony was an excellent source of information on the trails. We even had Weezy (the... More

Blueberry Hill Inn is a wonderful place, in the middle of a national forest, with tons of trails to walk or ski. The inn itself is amazingly funky, with an indoor garden, old homey kitchen, and quaint bedrooms. The hospitality and food are fantastic, and it doesn't feel like one of the many generic bed and breakfasts in Vermont. The... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn thru REI Adventures. Don't ask Tony where the geocache is. He'll be happy to point to it. The food was amazing! Can I have the recipe for the pumpkin cheesecake? The only complaint was the bathroom door in our room would not close all the way, but I like my sister,... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review here. And reminding us about the door. This time of year is when we get a chance to catch up on maintenance. Chef Tim was the creator of the pumpkin cheesecake and he is off traveling and dining in Europe for the winter but I will try and track him down... More
