Fairly new owners, though experienced in RV park management. Nice quiet place level grassy spaces. Easy access, and good roads. Tenting all the way up to big rigs. WI-FI is a problem, they are working to fix that. Restrooms and showers were clean and everything worked. There is no laundry facility at present (August 2015). Lots to see and do... More

We stayed at smoke rise mid June. The new owners have made this place beautiful, the sites are great. Everyone is very friendly. The pool is fantastic, there is a lot of hiking close by! We will definitely come back!

The place was very Welcoming. the camp sites were perfect, tons of space between other campers (private), tons of trees for shade. bathrooms are just how i like my camping trips, clean clean clean and VT rustic. No store but the owners gave us free stuff. hiking is great. the towns near by are small and beautiful. We are camping... More

Smoke Rise family campground was a fairly primitive campground. Had a lot of RV sites, the pool was broken and the area hadn't been sprayed for mosquitoes for a long time cause they were lots of them. Showers were rustic and cost a quarter for 10 minutes. There were a lot of trees to put you tent under and water... More
