Friendly service, comfy beds, delicious meals. I asked where to get hot water for tea - the owner provided hot water, cups, and a tray of homemade cookies for the entire group! Sunset over lake - wow!

The Edgewater Resort is an older resort that has been kept up well. Has so many options at their resort to stay in, efficiencies, B&B, Motel, Condo's, Chalet and Apartments and all are very economical. On top of all that they have a Restaurant the Trac - In Restaurant, we haven't eaten their yet but our first night at the... More

The staff at the resort were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated and perhaps minimalist, but the one I stayed in was very clean. The food at the restaurant was great, and I was very pleased. Lake Bomoseen is beautiful, and this resort is in a great location. I... More

We stayed here because the price was right, and the location was near family we were visiting. We ended up checking out 5 days early. Not because there was no internet, no phone, and not even a working smoke alarm. Not because everything was ancient and smelled like mold and cigarette smoke. Not even because they don't do housekeeping on... More

Found this place on the internet, looking for a place near a train station in a scenic area. Given the earlier mixed reviews, were not sure what to expect, but were delighted and would go back in a heartbeat. Yes, the furnishings are not up to date, but our room was clean and comfortable, with TV, wi-fi, and mini fridge... More

we stayed at this resort for many years. Most of the time,we stay in the motel but they were full so we stayed in the chalet which is above the restaurant. Stayed here 7/26/13 - 7/28/13. Still can't get the overpowering stench of decades of smoke out of my mind. Everything is pre-civil war. The carpet, paint, blankets and comforters haven't been changed in centuries. Couldn't wait to leave. There was nobody to complain to. The office was closed when we got there at 5:00 P.M. and when we left at... More

I'd first like to say that we've stayed at Edgewater a number of times. We've stayed in the motel & the efficiencies overlooking the lake. The location is wonderful. The accommodations, not so much. Everything is very outdated. The amenities are minimal. There is a large outdoor common area, however it's not well maintained, there's an indoor rec room, again,... More

We came to the Edgewater Inn on the recommendation of my dad to celebrate his birthday. The grounds are beautiful and the lake was crystal clear with amazing sunsets. I have only wonderful things to say about the lake. However, the rooms were a huge disappointment. At $95.00 per night, it sounds like a bargain but the room was very... More

We stay at Edgewater once a year usually for a long weekends. The area and the lake is just beautiful. It is the perfect place to relax. The kids love to swim in the lake and the pool. We always take the meal plan (breakfast and dinner) as the food is very good. They only thing that I would like... More
