Excellent inn with a great location in downtown Bennington. Within walking or very short driving distance of old Bennington, the Bennington monument and several downtown eateries and cafes, including Alldays and Onions, the Bennington Station Restaurant, the Bean and Leaf Cafe, and the Village Chocolate Shoppe. Also an hour's drive from several scenic driving routes and the Vermont Country Store.... more

We opted for a larger balcony room for the extra $20. Nicely appointed room with faux ceiling beams, and very clean. Wireless internet service was very good. TV needs upgraded, but the cable channel selection was adequate. The door had to be slammed to lock, and the hallway was incredibly hot, but my biggest gripe is the lack of water... more

we spent 1 night on our way to new hampshire. Lots of restaurants and attractions are nearby. We had no issues in checking in, staff was very friendly. We had an economy king overlooking the pool. The room was clean, the bed was fine, but it is time that management purchase some flat screen tvs. Coffee & tea is available... more

My sister and I stayed one night here while on a 10 day trip. It was a nice place to spend the night. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool area. Room was clean and beds comfortable. It may be a little far to walk to the downtown area if you are not in good physical condition. Wish we... more

Like others have stated the first impression could leave you wanting.....I am hoping there is a grand plan for this property as it has so much potential. Rooms are adequate....cleanliness is always a biggy for me and I was not impressed one way or another.....we had a first floor room that accessed the parking lot, lobby, and pool without having... more

Don't judge this inn by the outside - it's set back from the road behind a closed building so we weren't sure what we had gotten into but the accomodations were more than satisfactory. We'd asked for a premium room (those are the ones with wireless access) and because I'd asked for the first floor (there are no elevators) we... more

The Paradise Inn is a great place to stay. The room I had was large (even though I had an economy room) and nicely decorated; not like a hotel chain. I was impressed by how immaculate the room and bathroom were. Not only is it within easy walking distance of the downtown area, in the other direction is a lovely... more

I travel a small amount for work and never go with lodging that is not a chain. My luck has been bad with Mom and Pop operations. That being said, I found the Paradise Inn to be a pretty good hotel. The staff at the front desk was nice. I was very pleased with our Junior Suite. Very spacious with... more

Chose this one on basis of location - easy 10 min walk to centre of town. Room bit dated, but clean and good sized. Bathroom OK and check in staff nice. Pretty garden at the back - nice pool had it been summer! more

I wish the sheets had been fitted. The sheets on our bed did not cover the mattress and by 2AM, the top of the mattress was exposed and I had to get up and remake the bed! Annoying! The room was not vacuumed during our stay. more
