I wish the sheets had been fitted. The sheets on our bed did not cover the mattress and by 2AM, the top of the mattress was exposed and I had to get up and remake the bed! Annoying! The room was not vacuumed during our stay. more

My review will not be a whole lot different than the other reviews, but it will reinforce some good points. The hotel is well off of the highway, which is a positive. We did not hear any road noise at night, or outside in the pool/garden area. The restaurant building in front of the hotel is now vacant (as of... more
The folks running this hotel were nice. The lobby is nice. The garden and the pool are immaculate. You can walk to nearby restaurants and a couple of the local attractions. Could improve a little on the housekeeping, just in terms of cleaning the shower daily. Otherwise, a pretty good little hotel that's priced right. I also liked that they... more
Nice, big rooms with a nice patio. My only wish is that they would offer a continental breakfast since the breakfast place elsewhere on the property (which is for sale) is more of a lunch place. And why is there no ironing board & iron in the room? That said, a nice place to stay. more
Paradise Inn was a nice place to stay for the prices they charge. Rooms were updated and clean, staff was excellent and familiar with the area needs. Had a nice little sandwich shop on the premises that was awesome, price compared to are that we live, very friendly staff as well. Would recommend this to any family traveling with children,... more
Not a nightmare, just no compelling reason to stay there again. Rooms have plenty of space, clean enough, but not impressively so. Soap and bath amenities did not get replaced after they had been used up. Free (good) coffee in the lobby area that we often had to wait in line for was an inconvenience compared to having coffee makers... more
Stayed during Fall Foliage season. From reading other Trip Advisor comments decided to book. Staff was always very pleasant and very accomodating on the phone!! Had a little trouble finding it but it is nicely situated off the main road. Very quiet. My room seemed a bit dated and worn but it was clean and very quiet and I did... more
My wife, my three children and I stayed at the Paradise in August this year. What fantastic value it was. Less than $150 dollars a night for a superb, nicely furnished and roomy junior suite which comfortably accomodated the five of us. Great pool, helpful staff and a lovely setting added up to the one of the nicest and best... more
Thanks to all the TripAdvisor reviewers :) We elected to stay at the Paradise based largely on your comments, and were very pleased with our experience! I agree the decor is somewhat dated, and there's a bit of a damp smell in some of the corridors (exit doors are left open, with no A/C in the corridors, so humid air... more
I booked online directly with the hotel and wasn't sure what to expect but when we arrived I was so pleased that I chose a local hotel and not a chain (all the chains aren't near Bennington town anyway). The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet,... more
