We were in Vermont over the Columbus Day weekend--without reservations. What a mistake. We could not find a hotel anywhere--and I mean anywhere in the entire state. We ended up having one hotel owner give us the name of the Days Inn in Barre (on Main Street) where he'd booked an overflow room. How nice of him to offer. But... more

We stayed here on the way to Ben & Jerrys factory tour and Waterbury area from Mountain region of New Hampshire. This was alright for that reason. It is in a cute little town with a fair amount of shops, some chain restaurants and such. The checkin person was decent, said she only had one room left and it was... more

We walked into our room and it slanted to the left. The bed mattress also slanted to the left. The TV was old with a green tint. The toilet didn't flush. The water was scalding hot. The drain in the tub did not drain and while taking a shower I was knee deep in water. The room smelled stale. We... more

What can I say - it's a roadside motel. Room was adequate, but a bit worn and dark. They had an indoor pool, but it didn't seem to be open and there was no information about hours, so if you're interested in using it, check with the motel about hours and availability. We were there in peak foliage season, so... more

I stayed here with my dad on a recent trip to New England, my first ever. The hotel seemed a bit difficult to find for my dad but then again his GPS is not 100 percent accurate. Based on its appearance and decor, the hotel was about 40 years old and had probably been something else before it was a... more

Rooms smelled of smoke and mildew, bathroom unclean, bed uncomfortable and it was very noisey! - We walked into the front desk / office and it was like a hunting lodge - people drinking beer, smoking and there wasn't any sense of urgency to the customer. Will not be staying in this hotel again. I totally believe it is worth... more

This was a lovely motel. The room was comfortable and adequate. The surprise was the fabulous indoor pool - large, very clean, 3 ft - 8 ft, and rinse off shower. There is a restaurant, but not always open. Check the desk - it is worth the visit. more

This place is okay. It's not Hilton, but it's fine. However, the first day that I stayed I had a meeting at 9:00 and could not take a shower because there was no hot water to be had. This was a little annoying as I felt like crap (not taking an ice cold shower for my meeting). But, the next... more

This hotel advertises FREE internet in its online ads. However, when we arrived, the clerk told us that we would have to pay $10 for the password to log in. The piece of paper that we purchased said "Login information for FREE internet". Besides that, the connection wouldn't work as promised and internet customer service was nearly impossible to reach.... more
