The Motel 6 is great value for a Friday or Saturday night in Wendover. Hard to beat $40/night. The casinos generally charge between $110 and $140 per night on the weekends. This has been our halfway layover four years running from SF to Denver. It's always been the cleanest of Motel 6's we've stayed at. Great shower water pressure to relieve road weary bodies. Never tried the pool but it has always been busy. You do get I-80 noise but it calms down at night and starts back up before dawn. more

Generally, this is what you expect in a Motel 6... smaller bed, somewhat cramped shower and small towels, some noise at late hours, mostly do-it-yourself service.
